Love this neck fan. It can be bent into the correct position over and over again. I have had several brands of these and most of them did not bend well or stay in the right position.
One had vents in the back, which outside on a hot day just stuck to my neck, making it more sweaty, completely useless for me.
I find that this particular fan charges fairly quickly and it lasts quite a while for the way that I use it. Indoors, I only need it for 5 or 10 minutes at a time and it does last a couple of days doing that.
Unfortunately I dropped and broke the one I had so I ordered a new one and it came in under 24 hours. Monday night order, Tuesday early afternoon it was already here. So happy with this fan I highly recommend it and the seller. A+++

This fan was recommended to me by a friend for hot flash relief so I thought I'd give it a try. I also like to sit outside and get some sun and fresh air sometimes (in the Florida heat!), and putting this over my shoulders makes the outdoors much more pleasant.
As far as battery life, I can't say yet how long it lasts as I've only used it a couple of times, but the last time I used it, I had it on one of the higher settings for about an hour, and it never showed any signs of slowing down. I didn't even charge it that long out of the box, so it's probably not even fully charged.
The noise is a mild hum. It doesn't bother me, but I probably wouldn't wear it at my place of worship, because others might be distracted by it a little, which is fine because it's always so air conditioned in there, anyway, and I can always bring a small hand fan if I need one. But for sitting at my computer, or out on the deck, or even at work, it's great so far. If you have a physical job where you're moving a lot, it can fall off of your shoulders, but to remedy that, I cross the two fans in front of my neck and it'll stay put. It might look a little funny, but you'll comfortable. I also discovered that you can point one fan into your neck, and tuck the other one down into the front of your shirt to cool your core a little (see my pictures). Sounds silly, but it really isn't that noticeable, (and so what if it is!), it's very refreshing. Plus it helps hold it stable so it won't fall off of your shoulders. I also hang it on my laptop and enjoy the breeze without having to wear it. I've attached pictures.
Just a note: At first I thought my fan was defective because it wouldn't seem to turn on at all. Well two things to keep in mind:
1- The lowest setting is "intermittent". It stops and goes every few seconds. So if you turn it on and it doesn't SEEM to be working, wait a few seconds. It might just be the intermittent setting being "off" at that moment.
2- You may need to charge it before it'll work at all. It doesn't take long. If it just won't work, put it on the charge for an hour and try again.
