Balancing his growing relationship with Ellie and the increasing productivity of the farm with the impending destruction of everything he fought for, John has no choice but to step back into the limelight, whether he wants to or not.

Author of the Titan and Battle Mage Farmer series, Seth loves writing science fiction and fantasy.

Books three was just as well written and engaging story as the first two books. The story continues, with the same fast pace, exciting storytelling that makes you want to binge read this series. Dialogue and world building remains excellent, and the simple yet in-depth character building is still fresh as book one, creating a story where the characters feel like old friends and you can't wait to find out what's happening with them. Great read, highly recommend!

I don't usually have enough to say to make up a useful review, so the fact that I do this time is saying something all by itself. The first book was a little slow for me to get into at the start, and for a while it seemed to be doubling down on the "Beware of Chicken" vibes I'd been getting (even before Sigvald's introduction), which isn't much of a complaint as BoC is excellent. But it became evident that this tale was taking its own unique path, which turned out to be quite intriguing despite the tricky "super powered protagonist who isn't even using his full power" tropes.

Here, the action just keeps getting better, and this book really brings the tension and excitement to a head in a very fun and satisfying conclusion to this portion of the story. I'll be moving on to book 4 as soon as it's published, and am looking forward to more by this author!

Different, but the story is engrossing. Easy to love the characters. Couldn’t put it down once I got into the story (that is, in book 1 — I didn’t know there were so many books in the series at the time).

I've read the first two books in this series in a less than a week as they were real page turners which is the highest praise I can give. Even found myself reading while walking on the treadmill.

The plot is as riveting as ever and, without spoiling anything, I will say that the world is on the brink and only the MC can save it.

One change I was pleased with was far less appearances of the hated "haha" in character dialogue. I think as the author developed more experience he discarded such devices. Made the experience even better and the only errors I came across were some minor grammatical ones. Hopefully "haha" is gone altogether in the next book which I can't wait to start.

I love this series so much that, even though I can borrow it whenever with my Kindle unlimited sub, I purchased the books. The characters are great, the MC is OP but that power is actually a source of trouble. I like that there is adventure and peril and humor, but it is written in such a way that it isn't traumatic. Sometimes you just need fun, comforting, and relaxing, not an emotional rollercoaster.

A lot of things came full circle, some twists occurred and worked, romance has bloomed and the story continues even though it could had ended. I’m very excited to see what happens to the planet and its people and when and what will happen about the door. Next book !

Alternate universe, magic, LitRPG light, OP MC

John Sutton and friends face challenges to their existence from too much mana and undead threats, pushing their world closer apocalypse and oblivion. Calling a race of the Sidhe spectres was just out of left field, and the annoying "haha"s continue. And OMG, a two second kiss on the lips, and John smiled! Not as good as it could have been, but at times absorbing.

I love it. All of the characters are well developed and interesting. I also like how the power system is put together.
