The sand is really soft, clean and overall really nice. It reminds us of a really nice beach when we cant be there. We have a small crab sandbox and purchased 4 bags which is enough, but a few more wouldn't hurt. Overall we highly recommend.

Amazing sand

We have purchased a minimum of 25 boxes of this sand over the past 4 years... it is clean, feels good to play with, and the kids love it.
We get a lot of compliments from other kids and parents about how nice it feels and how much they like it. We have tried other sand, but it always feels gritty and dirty... this sand is AMAZING!

Our favorite sand for the sandbox!

Bought this with Step 2 water and sand table and one bag was perfect. I was worried about the reviews that said there were bugs but I guess we got lucky. The sand is perfect!

Lovely sand

I bought this months ago and again last month as well. My little 3yr old has insanely sensitive eczema to the point regular sand and many otc that claim no harsh metals, ingred etc... always a problem and my son's skin suffers greatly. 5 day process to get back to somewhat healthy skin. Anyway, this sand is super soft, yes it's glittery BUT it's easily brushed away. Again, no skin irritation for my kids which I love. So far no bugs are interested in it either but I'm prepared to mix with cinnamon if I have to.

Perfect Sand - No Skin Irritation

Cannot believe I am so happy I paid this much for sand for a sandbox.  However, I am!  It is a great quality and even when poured all over clothing, skin, etc, it basically all just brushes off.  Will highly recommend and purchase again, when needed.  Also, your price was the best on the internet!

Super Sand!

i bought 4 of these for a granddaughter sandbox and at 25 lbs each, its a good thing you can get free shipping on 4. Cost us about 10 times the cost of play sand at Menards, but it is a heck of a lot finer and whiter.  Probably not worth that cost when it comes to "what does the kid care if its regular sand, they just like to feel it under their feet."

Nice feel, clean, but pricy.

I bought this on sale and excellent shipping charges, but now it is over priced and shipping to your door is not an option due to cost.  The sand is really nice and very white, but 25 pounds is not much at all. Great for hobby crafts though.

Really nice White sand but

This sand is soft, beautiful, and feels great in our hands! We were very excited to get it!
However, It's extremely expensive, but safer, compared to other sand, so I expected it to be fairly perfect. What I figured out is that it is actually dusty; I can see the “dust/powder” when it's poured from hands or shovels, etc. So I added a few small buckets of water from our hose. That took care of the dust, but after a few weeks I realized we had some very very small bugs in the sand, hopping around, and also the same bugs on our screened in porch (because I'd left some of the bags and boxes the sand came in, on the porch waiting to be put away). After researching and using a bug ID app, I discovered these bugs are called springtails. They are said to not be harmful to people or pets, but a nuisance, and hard to get rid of, (so you don't want them to get in the house,)and have been hard to get rid of on the porch! We don't use the sand anymore which is really disappointing. I do not recommend it due to the amount of time I still take to spray vinegar (said to kill them) on porch regularly and not enjoying the porch or the sand since we discovered these bugs. 
(We kept our sandbox covered when we weren't using it. )

Frustrated!

Buyer beware. The slightest air movement will blow this in you children's eyes. It's so powdery, not granules, that it sticks to everything. I mixed it in with regular sand and had to throw it  ALL out. Is it white? Yes. Is it sand? Absolutely not. I have no idea why there are any positive reviews for this product.

It's powdered dust! Buyer beware.
