In so many stories the hero becomes so powerful, and everything comes so easy. The hero always winning it when they must lose, they still don't really lose. that didn't happen here, he wasn't super powerful, he wasn't perfect, and he was never a hero. He was what he needed to be, failed often, and was hurt more often. The author truly crafted a masterpiece with this series and I loved it. Through all the heartbreaks and betrayals he still followed his path, even though he didn't know quite what it was.

I dont know how he does it but the author continues to absolutly knock it out of the park with every book he writes!
