About this ebook

Adderly “Boxer” Ford is nothing like the men of my past.

He’s an outlaw.

A criminal.

My opposite in every way.

I save lives.

He takes them.

I’m makeup and mink.

He’s leather and ink.

I’m a fan of monogamy.

I’m not sure Boxer knows the definition of the word.

It’s a bad idea to get mixed up with him and his motorcycle club.

But when his lips meet mine, and his fingers plow through my hair, my desire for an orderly, safe life goes out the window.

In his bed, I discover passion.

With his club, I find a family.

In his arms, I am safe.

I don’t belong in Boxer’s world.

But when you fall for a Tarnished Angel, you get a lot more than you bargain for.

beyond the mediocre writing, there's a whole laundry list of issues with the story. SPOILER ALERT: No trigger warnings for graphic violence against women and torture is really negligent. not to mention the ending is infuriatingly bad. I read the first book in this series and even though that was a mess, I decided to give this author a second chance. Unfortunately, I completely regret it.

Loved boxer in wreck and ruin so was so happy for him to find love. I loved this book up until (spoiler alert) the kidnapping and torture she had to endure and for someone with very few triggers it was definitely hard to read that section. Still a good story and by the end you will be craving to know more even with the HEA.

I enjoyed the story a lot. Loved the characters and their personalities. Linden guards her heart because of her upbringing. Her mom is very selfish and controlling. I loved how Boxer let her do her own thing to find herself while he gently guided her along the way. I didn’t feel like he was soft with her, he knew what she needed in order for her to heal and grow. I did not like the writing though how after she was returned from being kidnapped, she was all over the place with her convo with Boxer. One sentence she was saying they could be happy and 2 sentences later she was saying she didn’t know if they had a future. It was whiplash for me. ARC copy for honest review
