Customers have mixed opinions about the ease of cleaning the juicer. Some mention it's easy to clean and dishwasher safe, while others say it' s too heavy and hard to clean. The collect juice is small and it gets messy as you try and swap it with a different one, and if you're not careful it will spit juice and pulp everywhere. There is also some discoloration to the black plastic bits that regularly come into the juice.

Customers are mixed about the size of the kitchen product. Some mention that it has a small footprint and nice black color, while others say that it is strangely curved and small. The feed and the container to collect juice are also small. Customers also mention that the chute is just a tiny bit too small to fit the average carrot, and the juicing cup it comes with is tiny.

Customers are mixed about the ease of assembly of the kitchen product. Some mention that it's pretty easy to clean-up, and it'll make a much faster setup. However, others say that the machine is too bulky and not too friendly in term of assembly. It takes a very long time to make 1 Mason jar full of juice, and the on/off on this machine seems awkward to use. The holding/surrounding the basket are kind of hard to remove, and especially the steel cutting plate is a little hard to take off.

Now, a little background...I have owned at least 3 juicers. My most expensive juicer was around $600. The cheapest was around $200. Each model was heavy, clunky, hard to use, and reminded me of a commercial juicer that you'd use in a juice shop rather than something you can easily use, clean, and move on your personal kitchen counter. Yet there were no other models available...
Until this one!
My other juicers? They are in "cabinet purgatory" collecting dust. They are too heavy and hard to clean that I would only last a few days on my "new leaf" juicing stint before wanting to clear the R2D2 space-consuming machine off my counter. The expensive models are huge and take up a big chunk of the counter top not to mention how most of them are white in color and matches nothing else in my kitchen. What an eye sore!
I was VERY dubious when I got this unit. For the price? It has to be a POS, right? Not! It's a pretty freaking awesome little machine for a number of reasons:
1) Lightweight.
2) Small - doesn't consume a square mile on your counter top.
3) Attractive exterior to match your toaster, coffee maker, etc.
4) Easy to break apart, clean, then put back together again.
5) Powerful enough to make a cup of juice or more each day.
If I had to complain about one thing it would be that the snout for pushing the veggies in is a tad narrow, requiring cutting everything down to smaller pieces. (There is a slight solution for that. I get organic baby carrots and that seems to work out well.) And if you're thinking about using this to open a juice shop, think again. It's not quite THAT powerful (but powerful enough for home use).
For the people leaving negative reviews, I'm gathering that they are lazy and don't want to clean the unit immediately after use (which is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, by the way) so everything will become a near-permanent fixture on/in the machine without quick and instant cleaning after use.
The cost of health and preserving against major health catastrophes in the future requires a little time and effort. If people can drive to McDonald's, they can bust out this juicer and create a healthful drink that can potentially save their lives now and in the future.
Both my parents had cancer. My mom didn't survive. She passed 9 years ago next month. She tried both chemotherapy AND radiation (at the same time) and was gone within 5 months. So much for "traditional" medicine.
My dad was in stage 4 prostate cancer a little more than 3 years ago. They removed what they could and suggested radiation. He refused. Instead he juiced and juiced and juiced for a solid 3 months, going with an almost all-juice diet. When they ran his post-surgery blood tests, all traces of cancer were completely GONE as if it was never in his body to begin with. Even the doctor was in disbelief. My dad has stayed on a consistent juicing regimen since then and has been cancer-free for over 3 years. I guess going "unconventional" is the route to take these days. It can save your life.
Anyway, get this juicer. It costs less than a dinner for 2 at your local sit-down restaurant so...what do you have to lose?
By the way, I've been juicing for a couple of weeks now. I got off caffeine and all over-the-counter sleeping aids. (Never thought I'd be able to do it.) I started going through killer withdraws then started juicing and it took the headaches away. I started gaining this awesome "smooth" natural energy and an overall change in my well being. My depressive symptoms have drastically subsided (since I have depression issues) and I feel enthusiastic and motivated for life again.
No, I'm not in this for weight loss or any other shallow reason people juice. I am in it for a change in lifestyle and I found some incredible changes by just juicing organic carrots, celery, and apples (but mostly carrots) for the past couple of weeks. I hope you go for it and make these changes for yourself too, especially if you're lethargic, depend on caffeine and/or sleeping medications, and have found that you feel life sucks. Maybe you just need some juice and it'll be all good!
Get this juicer if you're not sure if you want to do long-term juicing so you can try out the process (and the juice) without having to take out a loan for a more expensive juicer. And...if you decide that you want to dedicate your life to juicing, you'll probably give this one away in 90 days and upgrade to a better version. This will be your "tester" model. :-)
It dismounts easily, washes nicely and stores away without too much space. It might be a little noisy but that is the thing with most juicers. Now the chute might be a little smaller or enough for you to drop your baby carrots in a few at a time but it works. Just prepare by chopping up your fruits and veggies in advance so you can juice without stopping and save your motor. The custom juice cup is enough for me although in the movie Joe has a huge cup which will most likely really fill you up, but I have to tell you, this thing works, I was full as that cup was my only drink for breakfast or lunch and the energy in incomparable.
If you need something larger you will pay more but not sure what the difference would be other than you just have a larger more powerful juice but this one will get the job done.
The front part catches the remains of the itmes you juice and are pretty much dry so you get the best of what you need. Just make sure to read instructions on what not to juice. With this and another blender you should be well on your way to eating more healthier and make sure you drink plenty of water.
Other than that. This works, it might even be portable enough to take with you on vaca or trips to fam and friends.
I highly recommend it. Amazon Prime delivered on time too.
When I saw the incredible price range of juicers, I decided that I'd go with this inexpensive model because I didn't know if we'd like juicing and if it turned out we didn't like the taste or whatever, it wasn't a huge investment.
I think it's a great little machine. It's quieter than I thought it would be. Reminds me of a Dustbuster sound but a little louder but it's very tolerable. It comes apart easily and should be washed and cleaned immediately after making juice. Doing this makes the particles wash right off and with no problem. I would guess that leaving it for a while will leave you with a mess to scrape.
The mouth is pretty small which is a minor disappointment but it just requires that you cut the veggies into thinner pieces. I did take off one star for that because if it was just a tad bigger, a reasonable size carrot would fit in there and cutting the carrots can be a slight pain and adds to prep time. It makes a nice cup of juice and so far I haven't seen any leaking. I use a plastic gallon size sandwich bag in the pulp catcher and just lift it out and toss it when I'm done. There is still a good bit of cleaning to do of the other parts, but the chamber stays clean so that's one less thing to have to do. I have read online that some people use the pulp to make veggie burgers. I have not tried that though.
I am new to juicing so some of the reviews that say the pulp is wet and should be dry is not something I worry about. If we ever get a more expensive and better juicer, maybe I will see a difference but it doesn't bother me if the pulp is damp after I'm finished.
Our juice of choice is carrot/celery/cucumber and it's great. I'm thinking maybe we will upgrade to a larger juicer this summer since we'll probably be drinking more juices in the warmer weather.
If you order this, make sure you buy a cheap toothbrush and use that to clean the chamber that shreds up the veggies. There is no way to just wipe it clean; you need a brush. Luckily I had a sealed packaged toothbrush when the juicer came or that first cleaning would have been very difficult.
The bottom line: if you are new to juicing and want a starter machine, this is it. It does a great job and if you are only making juice for one or two people, this machine is quite sufficient for that. I use a larger cup under the spout but for a single person, the one that comes with the machine is probably fine.
I really love this juicer. We may upgrade later but for now this one is just right.

I have this product and using it in US and works perfectly well. I bought if for $30 (Approx 1900 rupees) . In India it costs approximately 5000 rupees and on top of that they only provide a 110 V as in US which cannot be used in India without a converter adn a good step down converter costs about another Rs 3000. Not worth spending a total of 8000 on this.
Even though the product is good, it is not worth it if they do not sell a modified version of this suitable for Indian voltage
