Although I have been known to cry at movies, it takes an exceptional book to bring on the tears. No spoiler, but one scene was very emotional for me, bringing back my own memories and feelings. Sometimes a good cry is good for the soul, though, and clears the mind.

These books can be read in any order. However, I am one of those people who has to read from book one. I am glad i did and find myself looking forward to the next story with a great deal of anticipation.

As with most of Melissa's books they start out slow and build as you get to know the characters. Then towards the end the surprise hits you. Such fun and relatable characters and it was great to get a peek into true Irish girls and see how much alike we all are.
Fun book.

Melissa Hill is the new Maeve Binchy, I would swear she took lessons from her. As with Maeve Binchy's stories, this book was very enthralling. I want to visit Ireland so much because of these two authors. I loved the way the characters came to life in this book, I would like to see a movie of it.The story line was very good and I didn't want the book to end.

This series is very, very well written. The characters are fully understandable and interesting. I don't like "romance" books but I have read all in the series happily.

I thoroughly enjoy the writing of Melissa Hill. To be honest, I have never heard of her, and one of her books popped on my Kindle. Enjoyable, insightful, a bit of romance, humor, and twists.

The first book I've read by this author. A little predictable in parts, however, enjoyable all the same, highlighting the daily struggles, many people may face.
