I want to love these headphones. I really do. I don't want to be another douchebag finance bruh with an airpod sticking out (literally) of their ears. It's a pain for me to walk to my midtown offices where you'll most likely see them powerwalk to their corner offices in their custom-made suits. I'm not about that life. So I decided to see what's out there.Samsung? eh.. I do use a S9+ but I've never been a fan of their audio products. Bragi? seems too startup-y and worried about them not being around for too long.. Bose or B&O? seems like they're behind the curve with the 4.x bluetooth tech when 5.0 is available.. plus wasn't too sure about their water/sweat resistance considering my active lifestyle.. Jaybirds? I've used their "wired" bluetooth headphones but wasn't really feeling the look. So the only option left were the elite 65t and the active version and I chose the elite 65t simply because of the low-key colorway.SetupPretty easy. I connected it to my Galaxy S9+ and 2 laptops and it was a breeze. Just a simple long-hold of the right side bud button and find it available on the various devices.FitThe small bud size that is equipped as the default wasn't creating a tight fit in my ears so at first, it sounded very air-y. after trying on the other earpiece options, I found that the largest one fit my ears the best and creates the ideal fit & outside-noise blockage.Material qualityIt's plastic. Everything's plastic. And I have no issues with that. One potential issue I see is with thin piece of plastic that holds shut the case. That thing was not designed to last so optimistically (opening & closing the case around 10 times a day), it'll last 2 years at most. I've learned to be very gentle in my approach.Audio QualityVery good. Companion app helps a bit with equalizing the low, mid, high (also you should probably download it to get the latest software updates). I generally listen to hip-hop, rock, classical and personally I think it covers the various genres very well. You really need to get a good fit in order to fully appreciate the audio drivers.Day-to-day usageOk so here's where the story goes downhill and never recovers. Is it just me or is Bluetooth "5.0" just a blanket marketing term? In my old job, I've used Bluetooth 5.0 headsets (connected to PC) and walked around my office without dropping any audio (I actually went outside to the 1st floor just below my desk on the 5th floor and it still worked. amazeballs). I was expecting the same from these headsets. Instead the audio constantly skips when my phone is in my pocket. Ok.. maybe my pants are lined with some sweat-wicking materials that's interfering with the signals possibly? So i try on my suit pants (I don't wear full suits thankfully) to check and yup, still skip city. OK so I guess I'll just have to adjust my life to fit the needs of the phone and start holding it while walking (I do walk alot living in the city).. But nope. Still cuts in and out. It's a shame really.Another thing that irks me is that whenever I take out my headset there's a very subtle static-y noise. It gives me a nice wake-up around 2pm when food coma kicks in tho.Another thing that annoys me is that sometimes when I take the earbuds out and I don't take out the left buds quickly enough, the right earbud will connect by itself thinking that I'm going 1-bud for a phone call so the left bud won't work until I take out the right bud, put it back into the case, and take em back out quickly or at the same time. Annoying. One thing I do love is the hear-through feature (enabled by double-pressing the right earbud button). I bike around the city often and being able to hear the cars, other bikes, and pedestrians is really helpful and got me out of possible accidents. However I'm never certain about the direction from which the sound is coming from so I essentially go into a Meerkat-like state and check all my periphery to see what's going on. I do think the soundstage (available in more higher-end audio equipment where various audio sources can be "placed" in different "spaces" to give a spacial effect) is a lacking feature and/or is too subtle to even be called a soundstage. A big miss in my opinion.Battery lifeIt's ok. I get a good 5 hours per charge and the case can give another 2 charges so at least the battery life is as advertised. I haven't figured out the battery life indicator on the case yet but wish it was a meter rather than a blinking light but i'll learn to live with it.Mic QualityIt's great. It has more mics than you'll ever care but it's honestly the one redeeming factor of the day-to-day experience. I'm constantly on a skype call through my phone or laptop and after testing it with skype's mic test & hear-back feature, I can say that the quality is top notch. I've used it with Google Assistant while hitting around 20mph on 8th ave in NYC and even with the wind-noise, cabs, etc. it worked flawlessly. One annoying thing is that when it's connected to 2 devices and I'm switching from listening to spotify on my phone to getting on a call on skype on my laptop, it doesn't always switch consistently. Sometimes I have to disconnect it from my phone for it to be "dedicated" to the laptop but I've seen that happen on other bluetooth headsets so can't knock jabra too hard for that.ConclusionOverall, if you're sitting at your cubicle and want to isolate yourself from the world (but maybe listen in on the office gossips using the hear-through feature), it's great. If you're on the move constantly and can't afford to hold your phone close to your ears, it's a hit or miss.

    UPDATE:
I've had these since July 2019 and they work flawlessly. Upgrading from 4 to 5 stars. I go 2-3 weeks easy without having to charge them with power, using them once a day for about an hour in the gym. The battery compartment keeps them going and going. During the time I've had these, I received a new pair of Samsung Buds+ free that came with a new phone purchase. Compared to the Jabras, they were trash. Not even close on fit or sound quality. I sold those on ebay. Connection, sound, fit, controls are all awesome. My Bose finally gave in and stopped working but I had those for a long time too so can't complain.
    ***************************

I've only had these for a couple of weeks and have only used them to workout and mow the lawn.
I also have owned a pair of wired Bose Quietcomfort 20's for several years so I'll try to compare.

    Connectivity:
    Jabra 5, Bose 4(wired)
The Jabra connected instantly and connects every time I turn on Bluetooth on my phone. Bose is wired so the obvious here.

    Audio:
    Jabra 4, Bose 5
Just about on par with Bose but you'll need to use the Sound+ app to get to a place that you like. I like the richness of the Bose but the Jabra come very close.

    Noise Cancelling:
    Jabra 3.8, Bose 4.5
I don't think the Jabra's have noise cancelling but they are very close to the Bose especially when the volume is turned up. I haven't used these on a flight yet and I'm expecting the same experience as the Bose (ie let's in some background noise). Mowing the lawn is pretty damn close for both.

    Comfort:
    Jabra 5, Bose 5
I typically use medium ear buds but put the larger ones on the Jabra which helped blocked out more noise. Jabra are very comfortable and I forget they are in my ear. Bose is very comfortable as well and have that little ear hook that keeps them in place. They both stay in while working out and I don't have any issues feeling like the Jabra will fall out.

    Controls:
    Jabra 5, Bose 4
I really like being able to press a button on Jabra for volume, pause, skip a song etc. Since the Bose is wired, I typically run the wire under my shirt and have the phone in my pocket and control it with the in-wire controller which sits near my chest. I wouldn't say the Bose is bad here but tapping on the ear is much more convenient and being able to do so without pulling the phone out is great. That's the other thing, I can leave my phone out of pocket near me which is awesome.

    Chewing gum:
    Jabra 2.5, Bose 4.5
I like to chew gum when working out and its natural for the ear to move which affects the Jabra more with sort of a thumping sound vs. Bose which I never thought much of when chewing gum until using the Jabra where it's pretty evident. So, I try no to chew as much.

    Charging:
    Jabra 5, Bose 2
I love the charging case and the fact that it continues to charge the earbuds in the case which is so much better than the Bose where you need to connect the cable in advance to make sure you have enough juice to have noise cancelling work for the amount of time you'll use them. I don't have any information on how long it takes to charge each, how long it lasts etc because I frequently charge them both and they both seem to charge up rather quickly. However, I've forgotten to charge my Bose a few times and have to use my car connection to charge them on the way to the gym. I don't feel like this would be the case for Jabra.

    Value:
    Jabra 5, Bose 3
I picked up the Jabra for 1/3 off during prime day in addition to 20% back on my prime awards card. Bose runs around $250 so for something that performs almost as well for around half the price is great value.

    Other:
I can walk pretty far away from my phone to the water fountain at the gym and still have connectivity. It does start to break up a little. Sorry, I don't have the distance. Maybe 75-100 feet.

I haven't worn my Bose since I've had these so that's probably saying something.

Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2020
Style: Elite 65tColor: Titanium BlackVerified Purchase
I have been so happy with these earbuds!!!

I got them about a week ago and have used them:
    -at home around the house
-at work (I work in a restaurant Front & Back of House)
    -shopping
    -on runs/walks
    -at the gym

There was ONE time I had some connectivity issues with the left earbud BUT read my notes below to see how it turned out not to be a problem with the buds :).

*Side note: I previously owned the Beats by Dre earbuds (Powerbeats 3) for about 2 years before one of the parts that wraps around the ear broke off! Those were also great, but I decided it was a good opportunity to try the "true wireless" style. I love and miss my Beast, but I will admit I like these better!

CONNECTION: I had one issue with connectivity the first time I took them on a walk/run. The left earbud was cutting in and out. At first, I tried to reposition it tighter in my ear because I assumed it wasn't registering that it was in my ear (since you can opt to only use the right one at times). Then I started to remove it and it connected right before I took it out. Turns out, It wasn't that I had to push it in further, it was that it was already pushed in a little too far. After that day, I found that just easing it into my ear and not trying to force it into a certain position was 100% effective and I haven't had any connectivity issues or cutting out since.
*All that to say...if the left earbud is having connectivity issues, try to pull it out and set it back in your ear easily (as it should go in!) and don't push it or force it.

NOISE CANCELLING/HEAR THROUGH: I LOVE that these have the option for "noise cancelling" or "hear through" mode. When I am at work or running outside I am able to hear what is happening around me (someone knocking on the door, calling my name, cars going by, bikes about to pass, etc) but it doesn't affect the quality of the music/podcast that I am listening to. When you switch to noise cancelling, you can tell a difference instantly. For example, I finished up a run and before I went inside it got really windy and I could hear the wind through the "hear through" setting, so I thought I would see if there was a difference when I switch to noise cancelling. The wind COMPLETELY cut out! Same goes for rustling leaves, people talking, etc. Night and day difference.
*I also love that you can us the right earbud solo and keep the left one in the case :)

BATTERY: The case offers extra charge in case your earbuds run out, and the earbuds them selves last long enough for me! I haven't worn them for more than maybe 2 hours at a time before popping them back in to throw in my purse or gym bag. I will say the case charges VERY quickly!

COMFORT: It took me a day or two to get used to the feel of these. My last set (beats by dre powerbeats 3) didn't have to fit so securely, because they had the piece that wrapped over your ear to keep them in place, and these fit very snug. I wore them for about 20 . min the first day, 30 the next, and then on a 5k jog the next day. They don't budge, so I don't have any worries that they will fall out when running!

    Overall, these are amazing.
    5 stars.
    2 thumbs up.

The only thing I have yet to find in a pair of earbuds is the ability to quiet the surrounding noises for the listener on the other end of the phone. Several earbuds (wired, wireless, true wireless) that I have tried, have the same quality there. If I am on the phone with my husband and washing dishes, he can hear the water. If I am typing on my computer, he can hear the typing. If I am in a noisy area, he can hear other people around me. I will say he has admitted that these are better than others I have tried, but FULL DISCLOSURE: These still do that. It hasn't been an issue for me! Though I am excited for the future when that feature hits these items :)

    Hope this helps!

Got these a few years back and it's time for a review.

The sound quality is top-notch. It has a similar sound profile as my Bose Qc 15s. I recall when I had the wired Apple Earbuds the difference in sound quality was very staggering in comparison to the Qc 15s. In fact, I would envy the moment when I go back to the Qc 15s. However, I'm always pleased to use the 65Ts. When switching from Qc 15s and Jabra Active Elite 65t, the sound profile is so similar that the only difference is its form factor. Of course headphones are going to punch more, but the 65Ts are no slouch.

The fit is pretty good. No complaints there. The fit is personal preference although I'm usually picky. They can be worn for ~2 hours without any noticeable fatigue. As time goes on, they can be worn longer and longer as my ears have gotten used to them.

For durability I'm impressed. They went through the washer 4 times and they still work. I don't try to do that, but sometimes I forget I left them in my pocket and didn't place them back in the case. A cousin of mine had some wireless Beats and they were destroyed after one wash. Haven't had any connection issues.

Battery life is as advertised. The case itself charges fast so even if they are dead, it charges to 100% in no time.

In terms of noise cancellation, well they don't have any. BUT the in-ear design offers noise isolation so with the volume at 50% it will block out most gym noises.

Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. They have Bluetooth 5 so upgrading to a newer model or another pair of wireless earphones will take a lot of convincing.

    I. LOVE. THESE.

I wear them all day at work and one charge in the cases usually lasts me about 7-8 hours. I put them in their charging case for 30 minutes on my way to the gym and I can wear them again my entire workout. The Quality is great, They completely block out the noise around me and they're comfortable.

I will say if you workout a lot the sport ones might be the better option and these sometimes start to slip out during sweaty workouts but that is literally the only minor fault, I usually take them out wipe them off and put them back in and they're good to go.

They have a good Distance range too so you can don't need to be glued to the source of the sound.
