This is a universal 1 to 2 hot shoe mount extension bar, ideal for two rigs like LED light, strobe, dslr camera and DV use at the same time. The easy way to extend your camera's cold shoe.

This solid aluminum, cold shoe extension bar uses a fixed mounting bracket to allow you to attach lights, microphones, monitors or any other camera accessory to your camera with ease.

Accessories that mount to your camera's shoe are convenient and easy to attach - but most cameras only offer a single cold shoe slot. This extension bar allows you to attach all the accessories you need by extending that cold shoe slot. Simply slide any mic, light, monitor or other accessory onto the bar and go.

Attaches to all standard camera shoes. Can also be attached via a standard 1/4" screw thread, if desired.

Designed precisely to accept all standard cold shoes. Accepts any accessory that fits in your camera's ordinary cold shoe slot.

This is a fabulous product. It is made of metal so it is very secure. I use this to mount a microphone and a light to a phone mount with a single cold shoe. This also puts the microphone closer to the phone plug-in so the cable being stretched doesn't distort where the mic is pointing. Overall, I love this product!

However I'm running it with their s t - 03 smartphone tripod mount and the tightening mechanism sort of interferes with a tightening mechanism on this product, to do wish this design I've been slightly altered, there's no real reason the products shouldn't be better when used together.

I don't know how something with only two or three parts could be so poorly done. I have other products from Ulanzi, and they're pretty well-made. This thing had to have one moving part, the knob that tightens the unit to the cold shoe. I couldn't budge it for the life of me. It eventually took my large channel lock pliers to release it. After that, it's fine. Works as expected. Before this my phone holder's cold shoe held my light, which held my microphone on top of it. This item greatly lowers the center of gravity, and likely increases stability. Good concept, could have been implemented with more care.
