The Beta's Heart (Wilde Creek Book 8) Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 61 ratings

Ren Corbin has a great life as the alpha’s right hand. He’s enjoying his life, but he knows it’s beyond time to find a mate and settle down. During a spring full moon, he senses someone in the woods and knows it’s his truemate. It doesn’t matter to him that she’s a fae and not a wolf; he only cares that she’s gorgeous and she’s his.

Kismet Thorburn, a nature-controlling fae with copper-tipped white wings, can’t stop thinking about Wilde Creek or the wolf she dreamed about. When she hides in the woods outside the alphas’ home to get a glimpse of the male from her dreams, he senses their connection and finds her.

Ren and his wolf are both crazy about Kismet. Marking and mating her is as important to him as breathing, and starting their new life together is everything he ever hoped it would be. When a new wolf pack requests a meeting with the Wilde Creek alpha, Ren’s surprised to see his ex is the alpha and has him on her mind.
When his ex makes trouble, Kismet and Ren must fight to stay together. Can their new love last, or will all be lost in the woods of Wilde Creek?

A Midwesterner by birth, R.E. spent much of her childhood rewriting her favorite books to include herself as the main character. Later, she graduated on to writing her own books after "retiring" from her day job as a secretary to become a stay-at-home mom.

When not playing with her kids, wrestling her dogs out the door, or cooking dinner for her family, you'll find her typing furiously and growling obscenities to the characters on the screen.

Her best-selling series The Wolf's Mate, Wiccan-Were-Bear, The Necklace Chronicles, Hyena Heat, Wilde Creek, Were Zoo, Saber Chronicles, Arctic Shifters, Vampire Beloved, Cider Falls Shifters, Sable Cove, Norlanian Brides, and Ashland Pride are available now.

She hopes you enjoy her writing and she would love to hear from you. Drop an email to rebutlerauthor@gmail.com or follow her blog on her website www.rebutlerauthor.com! Happy Reading!

I have read the whole series and each book is filled with twist, turned, nail biting moments with a HEA. Loved it

I will admit this was a really good book that has some romance, action and drama with a science fiction twist. I like that it goes into the year after with a happy ending.

I really loved this book, but I would have loved a book for Sam and for Disney's dad.
This author never disappoints me.

The pack is truly intermixed at this point. More time spent in fairy than wolf. Fated mates. Nice wrap up but law needs changing

Ren the beta wolf ,net kismet under the full moon, love at first sight, though kismet had dreams of the oven she found
Despite this a rival pack alpha Steff wanted Ren to be hers at any cost and didn't care who or what she damaged in the process . This was a gripping book filled with love danger and a pack uniting to protect their own
