Publisher's summary

An irresistible new romance from USA Today best-selling author Louise Bay - available in audio first!

The first time I meet Madison Shore, I’m greeted by her knickers. She’s upside down and trying to untangle herself from my chair at a wedding.

I get to see a whole lot more of her later that night.

The second time I meet Madison Shore is in my London office. Turns out she’s a journalist writing an article about me.

To keep control of my company, I need to convince people I’m more serious about business than my playboy reputation suggests. Madison holds my future in her hands.

Now I just need to convince the woman I took to bed on Saturday night that I'm not the player everyone thinks I am.

Emotional, Heartwarming and Steamy Romance!

Private Player is a fun, emotional and steamy romance. Madison and Nathan have an awkward meet cute at a wedding that turns into a night of 'no strings' sizzling passion. They never expected to see each other again until they do. Nathan has a reputation of a charming player, and it puts his position in his company at risk. So Nathan and Madison are both surprised to learn that she has been hired to write an article that could clear his name. Madison needs this job and is desperate to write this article. So they agree to forget what happened between them so Nathan can show her he is more than his reputation and she can write an honest piece about him. As they spend time together, they feel at ease, respect each other and their attraction grows, making their connection even more explosive. But what happens when not everything is as it seems, can they learn to trust each other when evidence appears to be against them? Madison and Nathan are so perfect together. They are both honest, protective, and caring. They have fun together, are close with their family, and their chemistry is off the charts.
Shane East and Clare Corbett were brilliant as Nathan and Madison, delivering a performance that was completely addictive. They portray each character with a perfect balance between fun & flirty, heartbreaking emotion, and sizzling passion flawlessly. This is my first listen to Corbett and I really enjoyed her voice. They work well together, conveying so much emotion in their performances, that they make this heartwarming and emotionally captivating story even better!

Madison was the best, she was funny and independent. The story was great. Louise Bay always writes a great story and Shane East makes every one of them delicious. I’m so glad this new release was included in Audible Plus. ❤️❤️

Mrs. Potts from Beauty & the Beast getting sexy?

Everything was good. Shane East was great with the narration but as lovely as Clare Corbett is, she sounded like the tea pot from beauty and the beast. The steamy scenes just didn't work for me with her voice. I actually had to fast forward through some of them. But the story was good.

Another great book with amazing narration

This is Madison and Nathan story, the way they meet is funny and well I loved how the story developed, not the usual way you will think if you haven't read the blurb or anything else about it. It's a very entertaining story, the way Louise Bay knows how to write them, is the perfect read for anytime any day.

I love Nathan and Madison!

And I love Shane and Clare in the audio version of Private Player. They bring life to Louise Bay's wonderful characters in a story that's sweet and steamy heat from beginning to end!

From their first chance encounter at a wedding neither one really wanted to attend, Nathan and Madison had a connection. Their attraction is instant and unexpected, and completely thrilling to read.
when their career paths cross, they try to remain professional, but the chemistry is too much to ignore.

I enjoyed every moment of this book. Nathan's family is great addition to the story, and so is the added drama and intrigue. 5 golden stars, and another winning tale from Louise Bay!

Great story

Okay. Louise Bay nails her hot rich boy stories. I was all about this connection between the two characters from the start. The slight comedy, to playfulness. It was really enjoyable to listen. Also Shane East is incredibly likable. I mean his voice and just attitude as he reads makes you fall for the character easily!!

Another great Player Book

I liked Nathan and Madison’s story. They come full circle from where they meet and connect at a wedding. The e story is mainly anoint trust, truly getting to know someone, and following your true path.

Sometimes, not becoming who you thought you should become is the greatest gift. Nathan discovers this, and also makes the revelation that he is made to be with just one person. I liked seeing their story evolve.

The readers do a great job. I enjoyed Shane better than Clare, but she did a good job as well. Definitely worth the listen!
