Cutting Edge TriXX Boosts Gamers FPSSAPPHIRE TriXX with its revamped and deceptively-simple interface features the New TriXX Boost feature. In order to gain higher game performance with given hardware, gamers can choose to run their game at a lower resolution. Traditionally the available resolutions choices are fixed to a small set of options. With TriXX Boost, additional custom resolutions are created, based on user input, which gives much more fine-grained control over the quality vs performance tradeoff. TriXX Boost enables gamers to run games at a higher FPS by reducing the rendering resolution and up scaling the final output image by integrating Radeon Image Sharpening. This powerful tool besides being easy to use, sees up to a 15% performance improvement in 3D Mark and 10% performance improvement in popular games the resolution is adjusted from 2560x1440 to 2304x1296; or up to 22% performance improvement in 3D Mark up to a 15% improvement in games when adjusting the resolution from 3840x2160 to 3456x1944. |

UPDATE: I highly recommend this card; after 1 month of usage (including some 1440p gaming on Fortnite in High, FIFA20 and Diablo 3 in Ultra settings) I wish I could give it 6 starts. I haven't seen any artifacts or black screen related issues that some people have reported.

As far as the driver issues that revolve around this and other AMD cards I have experienced some issues but now with the latest drivers on all of my components I have had no issues. Just make sure other components like your monitor display driver are up to date because that caused some blue screens for me but since updating it, it hasn't happened again.
As far as I can tell this has the updated V BIOS and performs well. I leave the card to its default value because when I tried to manually overclock it, it would crash every once in a while. However it's possible that the next driver update could fix it but its not much of a performance gain over the default boost.

I like the design on the shell of the GPU it has a nice look even though it’s hard plastic. The only things that’s kind of sucks about the look of the card is that the red led is not changeable.
The Performance of the card is great I get around 100~130 FPS on High settings in Modern Warfare and it never goes above 50~60 degrees. That’s good because Modern Warfare is a pretty demanding game. You could probably get 144Fps on Competitve settings.
And if you are wondering why I have two pipes on the card instead of the usual one. It’s because I got lucky and got the RX 5700XT cooling. Which I’m not sure if everyone will get that.

I purchased this card for a little over $300 and felt like that was overcharged.
In my defense, my previous computer had finally died and I wanted to build a computer.
Thank goodness I bought and built when I did, the prices for components has skyrocketed to INSANE levels.
I honestly can't recommend buying any computer stuff at this time. From the research I've done, this is a great card at the $270 - $295 price range, spending more would be giving manufacturers and retailers the wrong signal. Which, unfortunately, is what I did.
Bottom line: Is it a good card? IMO yes, but not for $400+ usd.
Final thought? Computer built, have digital connection, time to go play outdoors.
This has been a great card and purchase for eGPU (Razer core x) and my MacMini. It’s running well in both MacOS and in Win10 through Bootcamp. It’s very quiet and the fans don’t kick on unless gaming or start up. This particular card isn’t listed on the Apple support site, but it is working for me and is the upgraded version with 14gps.
Once in Windows through Bootcamp I went to AMD website and downloaded the 2020 drivers, did a shut down/start up and card was recognized with no errors.
Benchmark tests in both operating systems have provided better than expected results.
I am happy I decided on this card. I’ll update my review if needed.
Honestly, if you think you're going to squeeze more performance out by overclocking though, it's unlikely. The new bios puts you really close to max performance. I was able to overclock the GPU clock and memory by a little, but it resulted in 1-2 FPS increase, which really isn't worth the potential instability. I'm happy with it running the new bios.

Well priced high performing @ 1080p and decent 1440p.
Is just as good as the 2060 and lives pretty well with the RX 5700 too.
