These are really great night lights for my use. I hate when LED nightlights are an ugly bright white alien light, so I was really intrigued to see what the multi color feature for this product could offer. It’s better than I even imagined! There are plenty of colors to choose from, and they are almost all easy on the eyes.

I can see how this nightlight might be too bright for some, but it’s perfect for our use. It’s bright enough that the kids feel good about waking up in the middle of the night but not too bright that it makes it hard for them to sleep. We have settled on the red-orange tones.

The downside to this nightlight is the fact that actually getting to the color you want can be annoying and confusing. The way it works is you have to tap the sensor when the light land on the color of your choice, as it quickly cycles through them all. It would be much easier if you could just tap it until it landed on your color.

If that negative were resolved the price would be justified also. Even so, I would buy this again.

Got these for kids room nitelites. They are too brite entirely, and no dimming feature that i can tell. The single touch sensor makes it difficult to navigate the settings, and the default is an ever changing color pattern. Though it is nice and smooth transition, it feels like Saturday night fever walking into the kids room. Since they are pretty bright, they generally defeat the purpose because the kids can see enough to start playing around instead of sleeping.
You can lock in a color, which helps a little with keeping distraction to a minimum.
I think these would be perfect for a patio, or general houshold use, but i dont have a need for that.
The light sensors do work pretty good for automatic on/off function.

The wide range of colors make this light versatile for a number of applications. These are great dusk-to-dawn lights. I needed night lights for my kids that didn't get hot and also were bright enough to light up the darkest shadows. I have 4. 2 the kids chose a fun color, the other 2 are set at soft white which seriously lights the way.
For those who don't want as much light, 1 would be great for a nursery.
They cycle through rainbow, or you can choose to pause at a color, or set to soft or bright white. Love them so far!

I really want to like these - they project more light than the earlier flat panel lights I bought on Amazon, and are nice looking. They might be too bright for some people, but I like mood lighting and intended them to be seen, and they're just bright enough in a bathroom so that if I wake up at night, I don't have to turn the main light on and wake myself all the way up to do what I need to do....

...However, the lights won't stay in color changing mode for more than an hour or two - all four that I bought initially revert to solid color mode, no matter how many times I set them to change. I noticed no one else seems to have had this problem, so I suppose it could just be my order was part of a bad batch.

After I first posted this review and was ready to return them, I got an email from the sellers who were very concerned about my rating and offered to send me free replacements (with no return required). I accepted, and then they wrote again asking how things were going. Which I consider stellar. So although three out of the four have the same problem, and one flashes on and off, I've raised my rating by a star.

I'm disappointed as I really like them as color changers. The only other really similar ones on Amazon ($9.99 for two) I found, are bigger and do work - but not as smoothly as these do (for an hour or two at a time before reverting to a solid white-ish yellow orange that is), and the alternates are brighter than I would like.

I'm keeping these because I have areas where I can use solid night lights and they're fine for that. Auto-shutoff in lit areas does work flawlessly on all of them.

Hopefully the production flaw can be worked out in the near future.

I was looking for a plugin night light for my kids room since they keep losing and/or destroying rechargeable ones. This one had no sharp corners, color changing, and toucj sensor button so I thought I'd give it a try. It is just what I needed. No sharp corners for them to get hurt in the middle of the night. Turns off automatically during day time, and touch sensor is a nice edition that you barely have to touch to change colors. I have put on right next to kids bed and they enjoy the color changing feature, and I like the fact thay they won't lose it anymore.

It has a very soft glow. Perfect amount of brightness for night light.
