She has written four books and is permanently working on her next one. She also writes and directs her own films. She likes film, politics, music and cats.

I really enjoyed reading these poems, my favorite poet was Wilfred Owen and his collection of war poems so quite contrasting. Catherine does state at the start that these poems have been written in her pre-teens & teens and some recent poems. So there are a lot of the poems are about love & men, my favorite would be 'colour of love' & 'on the dark side'. There is a nice rawness to the poems and I really like some of the explanations at the end of the poems as it gets you into the mindset of the writer.
