Construction is in full swing at Renner Sports and Racquet Club as the new owner, Drake Winstead, moves forward with his vision to transform the aging sports complex into the premier tennis center in Texas.

Monica E. Simmons was born in San Antonio, Texas. She now resides near Dallas with her husband James where she works at a full-service advertising and marketing firm. In 2018, Ms. Simmons published her first book: "I Have A Complex, But I'm Managing It!" Volume I a collection of true tales from the wild and wacky world of property management. Part of the proceeds from the book benefitted The American Red Cross. She is currently working on Volume II.

Her second book, "30-Love" will soon be followed by a sequel - "Match Point."

"It Happened in The Hill Country" is another fast-paced, romance novel based in the spectacular Texas Hill Country.

In addition to writing, Ms. Simmons enjoys the great outdoors, music and spending time with family and friends.

Another hit! I was waiting (rather impatiently) for this book to drop after reading 30-Love! It was well worth the wait! Just like ‘30-Love’ and ‘It happened in THE HILL COUNTRY’ this book arrived super quick and in the best packaging! No chance of damage on its way to me! Once I started reading I was taken right back to where I we left off with Charlie and Drake.. this book will give you all the feels! A must read and a great addition to my little library! I’ll be waiting for more to come...?? I hope!!

Match Point was a sequel to Monica Simmon’s book 30-Love. It is a continuation of a love story between Charlotte (Charlie) and Drake a 🎾 tennis pro. It gives you an insight of a love affair blooming with some ups and downs along the way. This book not only is about the two of them but you learn more about both of their families and they become separate stories themselves. By the time you finish reading this book, you feel like you know each of the characters on a personal level. This is a very well written love story. I am looking forward to Monica’s third sequel Forever Duece.
