The big soft orange wheels are terrific for bumpy sidewalks and poorly maintained asphalt/concrete roads with bumps. They go over cracks and pebbles with ease, and create a very comfortable cushy ride. I'm amazed that it's never caught on a pebble yet. The only thing that has ever stopped this board unintentionally was a giant seed pod the size of a flattened banana that somehow got caught in one of the front wheels and threw me off (wear pads and helmet everyone, especially if you're older like me).
The wheels are super grippy, so I haven't been able to do any sliding whatsoever with these, but they help me make turns going downhill very confidently. They're SO grippy. I might buy some Orangatang Durian 75mm wheels and slide gloves if there is ever a good sale - those things are expensive compared to this board.
The drop deck makes the center of gravity a little lower, making it easier to balance, and easier to push since you don't have to go down as far. I have no problems with the bearings - it rolls so easily and for so long especially if there is smooth pavement.
With this longboard, I've gone on 25 mile long-distance cruise rides, and also repeatedly done downhill bombs in a large-but-rough sloped parking lot. I have developed chronic Achilles tendonitis in both legs because I enjoy this board so much and rode it a lot more than is healthy.
This board has no tails though, so don't expect to be able to do any tricks with it. Even stepping on the end of the board to get it to pop into my hand is a real chore that requires a lot of effort compared to a board with a board with a tail. Tricks are for kids anyway. This thing is built for speed and comfort, at a good price.

The design is very sharp. People will notice you cruising around on this beauty. I have got numerous compliments on this board since getting it. The graphic really pops with the black and orange color scheme. The design is glossed over which makes it nice and shiny.
One of the first things I noticed is how well this board is made. The wheels are of good quality and do not skid, which makes it good for just starting out. Other reviews knocked the grip tape, but I couldn't disagree more. The grip tape does a great job of keeping your feet from sliding. A couple weeks in and there is no sign that the tape will peel at all. The deck is also made of sturdy wood. I’ve banged the deck off of countless curbs, and it has handled it well.
The drop deck is great for shredding downhill! I’ve noticed that it doesn’t turn extremely sharp, but it carves really well. The way the board handles speed is impressive. I haven’t noticed the board shake at all at speeds around 20 mph. If you really want to jump into longboarding, this is the board to do it!
This spring, the city paved the hill into my neighborhood, and I decided to try longboarding. I now have 3 boards, and a bunch of different parts. This is my least-expensive board, and still my favorite; I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
Pros:
- The long drop deck.
- Super comfortable for pushing.
- Stable.
- Immune to wheel bite.
- The bearings are the smoothest I've found.
- The wheels are smooth, quiet, and grippy.
- I paid $105 for this, and now it's even cheaper!
Cons:
- The nose is not as resilient to plowing into a curb as my Landyachtz.
- The trucks are cheaply manufactured, and the hole is too small to accommodate stepped bushings.
Just buy it.
Overall very happy - Recommend for newbies an experienced alike.
