Enjoyed reading
Loved getting back into this series with Boone and Eve’s story. They had a sweet story and it was a great addition to the series.
The only reason i gave 4 stars vs 5 was because there were a couple points in the story that could have been developed further. I felt the conflict resolution in those areas were rushed.
I still enjoyed reading and still recommend.
Stand alone entertainment
Lucky Star is a cute, low angst, stand alone fake relationship/celebrity romance. There are brief mentions of the characters from Star Bright and the characters from Rising Star are close friends, but you don't have to read the other books in the series to enjoy this one.

The epitome of living the dream
You know, it’s really hard watching others living out your dream. Or in this case, reading about it. Growing up, how many times had you dreamed about your celebrity crush? Anyway, this book is the epitome of living that dream.
I related to Eve on such a level that it’s crazy that we’re not besties completely fangirling over our shared obsessions. When you truly live for the fandom, there’s no need for explanations. I love how Boone knows this and as a celebrity accepts it in stride. Omg, the light teasing about Eve as his number one fan was hilarious. I totally loved their banter with each other. I enjoyed watching their friendship blossom. But their chemistry was OFF. THE. CHARTS! Talk about a slow burn inferno!
This book was everything I was looking for from Nix. I was excited when she announced that she was diving back into the Starstruck series. She never disappoints. She has great world building that allows the reader to be immersed without being over done. Nix has a way of taking real life struggles, brings attention to them in realistic manners, and makes it clear that readers are not alone in their struggles. I adore that Nix points out that we’re all different and beautiful just as we are.
