Great matrix switch with a few limitations
I bought this so that we can switch multiple game consoles between 4 different TVs in my family room. I have 4 children that like to play games and this is easy for them to operate and send whichever console they want to whichever tv they want. I wish it had more inputs, but for the price, it is the best i could find. I also have a monoprice 6x2 matrix switch that is used in conjunction with this one to make up for the lack of inputs. on this TESmart switch, i have the four TVs connected to the 4 outputs. (two 70" Sharp models, two 42" Vizios, all 1080p). i have a PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the primary output of a monoprice 6x2 switch connected to the 4 inputs. I then have another PS4, xbox 360, xbox, wii, Odroix XU4, and Raspberry Pi connected to the monoprice matrix. The second output on the 6x2 matrix runs through a 30ft HDMI cable, under the floor to a 55" TCL 4k tv in another room. This way i can still play SNES games on my retropie system in the other room even when all of my kids are playing fortnite together.i have not used the remote, so i cannot comment on it.PROS: easy to use. having the dedicated button for each display and easy to read display makes it very easy for my children (6,8,11,13yo) to select which game system is displayed on which TV.CONS: i can't seem to get it to work when my PS4 VR unit is connected. it just constantly loses sync every few seconds. i don't use the VR that frequently, so i just unplug it and run it straight into a second hdmi input on my TV when i want to use it. without the VR unit, the PS4 syncs just fine.occasionally i'll just get a black screen with no picture on one of the displays, simply switching it to something else and then back seems to resolve it. i have a fairly complex setup and i'm perfectly ok with this.

I wanted to display four different devices (Fire Stick 4K, Roku Ultra, Magnavox DVR and cable box) to four different TV's (same content, at the same time). That way I can do things around the house, while watching my shows and not be glued to my recliner.

When I first hooked it up, I didn't get content on two of my older TV's, from the Fire Stick or the Roku (said "invalid format") both the cable box and Magnavox DVR worked. I sent TESmart an email with all my devices and model numbers of my TV's. A representative (Nemo) replied and said all my info was forward to their technical team. After a two emails, they figured out the two older TV's could not support the higher resolution from Fire Stick or Roku. I changed the settings in both and now everything works as it should. Props to TESmart for figuring it out so quickly (someone reading this may have been able to figure out the problem already (Me, not so much...).

The remote has numerous buttons, looks like a universal. You can only change the inputs/outputs with it, the power button does nothing (on mine, anyways). It can be powered on/off from the front panel and you can change the inputs/outputs there also.

I had to put a small piece of electrical tape over the front LED's (it was either that or wear my welding helmet).

5 stars for product and 5 more for support (especially since the conflicts were with devices, that are not theirs).

Edit - June 2, 2019. I know it has not been very long since I hooked it up, but it's still working great. I have ditched the cable box and installed a Nvidia Shield.

Edit - July 7, 2019. I just read someone else's review (UnlikelyNomad), that stated his matrix was prone to overheating. Mine's been on 24/7 and it's barely warm and only on the top right side. To be fair, mine is out in the open (as he suggests) and I'm not using the RS232 port (maybe that makes it run hotter?). YMMV.

This hdmi matrix is spectacular. It works well with all my equipment and quality is good. Super easy to install. I had seen other switcher that cost over $200 and do the same work as this one. I would recommend to anyone.

This thing is junk. If I have a window open with any type of streaming (prime, netflix, peacock, etc) and I close that window, the unit shuts off all displays from that PC. You have to power cycle it to get any monitors back. Also, if I switch my output options it scrambles the screens. I have 2 PCs connected X 2 outputs per PC going to 3 monitors. If I have a few apps open on PC 1 left screen, and a few apps open on right screen, when I change my outputs so that I can view PC 2 on 2 screens, the apps that were open on PC 1 get completely scrambled. Monitor 3 now may have all of the apps on it, none of the apps on it, or some random assortment of apps on it. It is unreliable, unpredictable, and extremely frustrating.

Just what I needed to switch between multiple sources and TVs. So far no problems at all (though I haven't tried anything higher than 1080p). The blue input/output LEDs are bright; I had to tape over them. And the remote appears to be designed for an 8x8 matrix, so there are a number of extra buttons not needed.
