Detection deep and wide

The scanner offers the Bosch Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) radar technology, which offers a wide range of detection performance up to 6 inches. The actual object depth is displayed, making it easy to determine the amount of material cover over the object. And this scanner can detect plastic pipes. It self-calibrates once the user starts detection and continues to self-calibrate during detection.

Seven detection modes

The Bosch D-tect 150 Wall/Floor Scanner with Radar features seven detection modes, including concrete, wet concrete, deep concrete, in-floor heating, drywall, metal and signal view. The user can find wood studs; plastic pipes; metal objects, such as rebar, metal studs or steel/copper pipe; or live wiring in floors and walls. The four-wheel design allows it to easily maneuver across surfaces.

Large illuminated display

The Bosch D-tect 150 has an easy-to-read backlit graphical display that indicates the depth and location of the object, plus mode, detection strength and more. The innovative signal view provides detection when two objects are close together – showing two peaks for the two separate objects. It is also used for big empty plastic pipes, to estimate the size of the pipes.

Deep detection of metals

The Bosch D-tech 150 can detect ferrous and nonferrous metals up to 6 In. in concrete. It has a maximum detection depth of up to 3-1/8 inches for electrical copper wiring and up to 1-1/2 inches for wood studs. The graphical display shows the center, edge and depth of an object.
