The best bass I ever had.

I was missing a lot and now can enjoy better sound and specially bass frequencies not available at other brand and models.

Great Sound! And nice design!

Like so many, I am on constant video-conferences in my new dining room home office. I have been using headphones to isolate myself from background noise in my home while working. As I hoped, this new set is very comfortable for extended use and the sound is great. One odd thing I did not think about too much is the smooth, clean design...these seem cleaner and I think they will hold up better than my old ones which had a kind of rippled seam around the ear cup which was wearing away and getting kind of nasty.

Nice for Big Ears

Over ears for bigger ear-havers! Sound is great, battery life seems good. Do recommend.

Love these so far

So far I love these. I did but them primarily for a gaming laptop, but I have also done some basic mixing with them as they're now the cans in my bag.

The battery life has been good and the fit has been comfortable. The initial use was a little clunky, but once you know the basics you're good.

Review after 2 months of use.

So I read all of the bad reviews while I was deciding which headphones to purchase. They were 50-50, between good and bad. From what I read in forums the manufacturing defects had been mostly solved by the manufacturer, so I took the risk.

First of all, you need to know what these headphones are for. They are not for professional monitoring or professional conference calls. I purchased them knowing this, but I had a very tight budget and wanted as much audio quality and portability as I could get, as they were to function as my main drivers for EVERYTHING. I do work calls with these, I monitor, I mix basic demos and listen to music. I went with these instead of the MX50s BT because of comfort reviews saying these were more comfortable. They have the Harman curve which is NOT FLAT EQ, bear that in mind. I knew all of these things before I bought them. If you are not willing to sacrifice on some aspects, then you will be disappointed, and you should look somewhere else.

The headphones have a regularly nice build, good materials, not much creaking. Earcups are nice, soft, however if you have a reasonably large head, I wouldn't recommend them as a first choice. Mine have a thing where the left earcup is shallower (or maybe it's my left ear that's bigger?) than the right, so my left ear touches the driver housing slightly and it is kind of annoying.

Regarding the issue many people see where the cables are hard to detach: yes, this happens, but it only happened to me with one cable, and it is a cable defect, not the headphones. The trick is to only push until it clicks, very softly. If not, the mechanism touches the end of the travel space and you'll have some issues removing it. Nothing too bad, to be honest.

As for the touch control functionality, it mainly works, but you need to use your thumb. It has a very large area of contact before it recognizes gestures, so by using your thumb covering the entire surface, it works almost perfectly. These are not some Samsung earbuds with perfect touch controls. As I mentioned before, I expected issues like these, and they do not really bother me.

Adjusting these is kind of annoying at times, because they don't stay in place after you remove them and you have to adjust them whenever you're putting them on for the first time of the day. Once on your head, they don't move around though, so it is easy to have them on for log periods of time. Again, not much of a dealbreaker for me.

As for sound, these are quite nice. They carry some rich midtones, and they are quite flat in the mids area. Some high end might be a bit difficult to get to, but nothing too bad. Low end can saturate a bit sometimes, but again, don't expect the fidelity of a 600 dollar set. Some EQ and you'll be good to go. They do bleed a bit of sound when you crank them up, so keep it in mind for monitoring vocals.

As for bluetooth audio, it's ok for what you're paying. I only expected it to work and not much more. However if you're using a PC for bluetooth audio, you have two options to choose from on your output selection, and I recommend using the non-headset option which has some more clear tone in my opinion. Battery lasts the 40 hours advertised for sure. Charging uses a micro USB charger which is not ideal as that's quickly becoming obsolete, but they charge in around 2-3 hours for full charge. No charger is included though. Not really important.

This is all I can think of right now, but I'll be sure to update if anything else comes up.

Overall, I would say get these if you're aware of everything that I stated above and are ok with these small product quirks. I have enjoyed them despite all that and think they are a nice choice if you look for an all-rounder that gets the job done. In the future, I will keep these for listening to music only and upgrade to some high quality studio headphones that serve my music production efforts better.

I hope this review is useful in deciding.
