I received this as part of a birthday gift from one of my best girlfriends and I am of two minds about it.On the one hand I love it because after I started adding this under my makeup, I got a ton of compliments even though it’s the same makeup I’ve been doing for years.People kept asking me if I was contouring or using highlighter but I didn’t, I actually started using this instead, to see if I could still take a decent picture in a dark room.That’s literally the only reason I ever contour and use highlighter and I only do it at night because some folks in my friend circle STILL stubbornly refuse to take pictures with a flash and I got tired of looking like a polkadot with eyes in every freakin picture.🙄I thought this worked pretty well, I liked the feel of it( sort of like a dry cream if that makes sense) and it cut out a lot of tedious makeup steps, but I didn’t like how shiny my nose and forehead looked ( see attached pics taken in a semi darkened room)so I ended up mattifying them, but overall it’s a really nice cream to wear for keeping your makeup in place and giving you a bit of glow.I took off a star because of the smell though.O.M.G it is TERRIBLE!It’s like a little old lady covered herself in 10 year old Channel #5 and then sat directly on to your face.😖It’s really that bad.I can’t even put on more than a finger tips worth on my face or my eyes start to water, but if you can get over the perfumey old lady smell, I’d recommend it.It didn’t break me out or cause any allergic reactions to my super sensitive skin either so that was a nice plus.That said, because I have a sensitive nose and eyes, I will not be purchasing this for myself once it runs out.

I got this in a fab fit fun box, and have been hooked. I used to use Clarins flash balm, which is excellent, but the gel like formula does not do as well after I started using Elemis. It's a creamy, thick texture, a little goes a long way, and is an excellent flash balm and primer. Super Hydrating.
