This product feels lightweight going in, defines my curls, and dries looking and feeling like... My hair. Not stiff or crunchy or wet looking. And I didn't use anything else with it!
I had been using devacurl (after years of layering various drugstore products) and I always used some kind of spray to set that because the hold wasn't enough - i didn't realize that it was also weighing down my curls until comparing to LUS.

How to Apply:
1. After Step 1 & 2, rake in 1-3 pumps per section based on hair texture, density, and length. Apply evenly from root to tip and squeeze out extra water if necessary.
2. If you like, use finger-coiling, scrunching, or other curl-enhancing techniques to encourage definition. Ensure each section is smooth before moving to the next.
3. Repeat throughout each section.
4. Air dry or diffuse gently.

If of the best curl creams I have tried in a long time. I also use their gel!!I do use their shamooo & conditioner as well at times! Curly hair really is all about the product that you use and how you style it. And not only are these products amazing but there are styling tips available on their website!

My hair routine is very simple and these pictures were taken after having the product in my hair a few hours and after laying on the couch watching TV for a while, so yeah there is a little frizz.
This is the first time trying this product and overall, I like the smell, consistency and the results. I have been using Sebastian Potion 9 for about 15 years and nothing else had worked on my hair. My routine is simple, I shampoo my hair a few times a week and condition and comb out my hair in the shower as needed, I towel dry (not completely) and follow up with a leave in conditioner and let my hair air dry.
This product smells good and I noticed my hair was curlier than it has been in a while. The curls were pretty. I applied this after my normal shampoo and did not use any other product. I'm looking forward to trying this again using a diffuser and to see how it lasts on a normal work day. Overall I recommend it.

Tried this product on my 9yo daughter’s curls. She has a very fine texture with a wavy looser curl (knot haven). We typically shampoo, condition, air dry and fix it up with a little water and go. It typically looks undefined and a little frizzy (4th picture attached in pink shirt).
After our typical hair care we followed the steps in The video for this product: Section dripping wet hair, 2 pumps of product in each section, scrunch out excess water. The three first photos show dripping wet, partially dry and fully dry. We dont typically spend this much time on her hair, so after an hour with a gentle blow dry we gave up on trying to dry all the way and she needed to go to bed with partially wet hair. I was careful to lay her curls over the end of her pillow. When she woke In The morning we spritzed with water and smoothed with our hands. We are happy with the result! I’m going to invest in a diffuser and see if that help the drying process.
