They did surprisingly well and seemed to grip slightly better than the stock tires that came on my Gen 8 on most surfaces, particularly on rock or dirt. In the mud I didn't notice a whole lot of difference.
They definitely look the part and are slightly larger than the stock tires that came with it but I have my height on the middle adjustment on the gen 8 and didn't have any noticable rub. Don't be too judgy on the foams until you drive it for a little while.
The biggest and probably the only con so far is the odor believe it or not. They have a wet ashy smell to them. I'm a firefighter and I can tell you they smell very similar to the inside of a burnt house after you soak it with water. This may not bother you a whole lot but if you keep your truck in your bedroom or something you'll smell them at least 5ft away. I assume this will wear off in time and I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying these tires because of it.
I'm fairly new to crawlers so I can't say a whole lot about the actual quality of the material. For the price though, I don't feel like anyone is justified to gripe about that anyway. (Update: the smell is gone after less than a week)
