About this audiobook

Jenna O’Donnell wants three things: to live in Tamarack, Alaska for the rest of her life; for Ted Godfrey to fall into a glacial crevasse; and Brad Fraser.

Brad Fraser wants three things: to leave Tamarack and never return; for his coworker, Ted Godfrey, to be fired; and to never, ever fall in love.

But Brad tempts fate when he takes Jenna out for a night of owl watching, and once he spends time alone with her, his carefully planned escape from both frigid north and fiery waitress is no longer simple...

Ok, take this with a grain of salt. Usually the prequels I have listened to have been done without listening/reading anything in the series. Hence the only information is based on the prequel itself. So surprisingly enough I am not a fan of prequels and this is no exception. The story is non existent except for the sex and to me perfectly honest I have seen very poorly made porn that had better stories. There is no life to the characters, layers, backstories or diversity making the characters flat one dimensional excuses for some kind of life. Understood that all things may happen in the followup series but that is a very poor excuse for this pretense of an attempt at telling a story. Ideally a prequel should raise an interest in what is to come, this one has had the opposite effect on me. I'm not sure what the author's purpose was in releasing this prequel and to be honest I don't care. If it were possible I could easily rate this in the negative area of numbers column.
