The Farm Innovators Heated Poultry Fountain is a patented 'all-seasons' heated plastic poulty fountain designed to keep water unfrozen and available for year round usage. It is thermostatically controlled to operate and heat only when necessary. The Heated Poultry Fountain holds up to three gallons of water and uses only 100 watts of power, enabling it to keep water from freezing down to 0° F. It can be filled from the bottom without having to remove the top.

Working great in Alaska
Been using this in Alaska (only been -15F so far) and this has worked great. I check it every day since it's my first winter using this waterer. I never see the nipples drip or leak on their own but inevitably chickens are going to make a bit of a mess. The attached picture shows about 3months worth of ice buildup underneath one nipple. Not too bad if you ask me. Never had a bird perch in lid so it's always clean. Occasionally I have clean out algae build up. Would recommend this product!
