First of all, the heat press does work, and so far it has done a decent job with my sublimation projects. But, I don't know if I am using it correctly because the instructions (see pics) it came with are useless regarding the initial setup. The translation to English is very poor. I don't understand most of it. I can't get the timer to work, and I don't know if it is because the instructions are bad or if it is broken. When I swing the arm, the base moves some, too. It doesn't seem to be heavy enough to hold itself down on the tabletop. So, I decided to just keep it in an "up and down" motion (no side to side swinging), which is good for pressing but difficult for positioning your fabric, paper, etc. I'll have to buy some non-skid pads to put on the feet to secure it. Also, there is no way to keep the bottom pressing part (not the base) from sliding forward and backward. It is designed to be removed for when you use the other pressing parts, but there needs to be a way to secure it while it's installed. I've pulled it out accidentally a couple of times already. The temperature controller box does not fit securely to the press, but it's not a serious problem, just an annoying one. Overall, I think it will be fine as long as I don't fiddle with it too much. -- Also attaching an extreme close-up picture of a sublimation project (on 100% polyester fabric) for reference to OK-ness of the press.
