I really want to love this adapter. I have a M1 MBA that I got for Christmas and wanted to add MagSafe to it with having two small nephews who are slightly hyper. The little magnetic part went in extremely easily. I was expecting it to be more snug. It went in so easily that when I try to un hook the magnet the whole port comes out. There is no way for it to go in further otherwise I would have kept pushing having read reviews that it was "tough" to get in. It is fully in and it charges no issue. I may be returning this one and hope that the next one that comes is a much tighter fit than this one. Everything else about it is great. Even tried it in a 12" MacBook with USB-C....same thing.
UPDATE:
I received in the mail a package today. In it was a nice letter and two more of these MagSafe chargers including a "new" version that was darker and matches my MacBook Air M1. I must say the customer service they provide is just absolutely outstanding. I didn't ask them to send me one let alone two\ but here in my mail there it was all because of my original review. The new one that they sent me that matched my MBA M1 works extremely well. It's in there solid it doesn't slip out easily and it also matches my computer. I am quite happy and have changed my review to reflect that. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING. I can't say enough positive about it. The charger works quite nicely and I've rather enjoyed using it now that I have the new one that fits. The magnet is nice and strong this thing is great. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Works as described, but wish the magnet was stronger. Note port spacing!
It's all about your purpose for buying an adapter like this. My purpose was very specific.I sit on the couch with my Asus Zenbook. It has very tight USB-C ports. If I set the laptop on the coffee table, get up, and then trip over the cord, I'm either going to yank the laptop to the floor (been there done that with prior laptops), or damage the port (done that, too). So, my sole reason for buying this adapter was to have an adapter that could charge at full power and also provide a release in case I, my wife, or my dog, got caught up in the charging cable.For my primary "quick release" reason, it works great. In fact, it works a little too well in the release deparment. It takes very little pulling/pressure to release from the connection. I'd rather have it this way than where it was too strong, but still wish it was a stronger connection. If I was Goldilocks, then this would be a "Mama Bear" connection.As far as charging speed, appearance, and material quality, the adapter is very good. My comments about the magnet are not really intended to be negative but rather to note it in case you are clumsy like me and need something to keep your laptop from going flying when you inevitably trip over the cord that it's going to disconnect when you don't want it to at times. This would not be an issue for a laptop sitting on a desk or table.One concern I had was whether the part of the adapter that plugs into the device would cover/block the adjacent USB-C port. On the 2020 Asus Zenbook, this is not a problem at all. The distance between the laptop USB-C ports is 18.5mm on the Zenbook. With the closer (14mm) distance betweeen USB-C ports on newer Macbooks, the plug in part of the adapter may be tight with a second cable, especially if you have a wide plug housing on your other cable.NOTE that the pics included are with the Zenbook, not an Apple. The ports on the Mac are 4.5mm closer together!I've deducted 1 star only because I don't think, at $20+, the value is all that great.Update 8 December 2020: Yesterday my 3 month old factory notebook charger stopped working. I cannot say whether the magnetic connector was the cause of the problem, but I've never had a charger fail like this before.

Pro's:
- The apparently new magnets are good and strong, and still release easily.
- It does its job well, plain and simple.
- Excellent fit to my MacBook Pro
- They do have their equivalent of Apple's "Silver" and "Space Grey" colors, so you can get an isKey adapter that generally matches the color of your laptop. (Mine is the grey one.)
Con's:
- My _only_ complaint about the isKey adapter is the bulk of the magnetic connector. The cord side of the adapter does fit over the connector pins themselves, but not over the housing of the laptop side of the adapter (or vice-versa). See photos attached.
Recommendation for the manufacturer:
Add charge indicator functionality to the LED. Currently it only shows whether there is power. (It's green all the time.) Make it work like Apple's MagSafe chargers; light up yellow when the laptop battery is charging. (Or take it a step further and make the LED indicate the battery status in more detail - red/low charge, yellow/medium charge, and green/full charge.)

The piece has a bit of heft - it feels solid and not cheap. It also snaps quite nicely into the USB-C port. The magnet, while not crazy strong, is consistent with the MacBook Air magsafe chargers I had before. They don't fall off, but if you tug it or flick it with a bit of force it comes out. The green fork that comes with the adapter slips in very nicely to pry the piece out of the port, but I don't see me using it very much.
The adapter fits very well with my computer, and it does not impede the monitor from closing or opening.
Very happy with this purchase!
