While the sex scenes were wonderful and steamy...Lexi ruined it for me! Selfish, immature, her way or no way. Zaan went above and beyond, took all the blame and was always there for her. Boo Lexi, you didn't deserve Zaan.

Plot doesn't make sense. Two people who didn't seem to have time to work on their relationship eventually decides to do it for life. No real effort to compromise and address issues they've been having for years and years. It seems like they learned nothing at all in the years they've been apart and just jumped right on to the same cycle. Female lead had a lot of hang ups which would've ensured a destructive pattern to her relationships. If you're into reading about toxic relationships, you've got the right book.

This is the first book in the next generation of Sidewinders. I'm so glad we get more hockey hunks. This is a good second chance romance. Zaan and Lexi get a second chance at the future they always wanted. Though the way things are playing out will history repeat itself? Right off the bat you can tell the feelings between Zaan and Lexi are still strong as ever. They are going to have their ups and downs, but will love win this time? They have a ton of chemistry. It burns off the pages and you have to fan yourself a bit. It's a great story and you're rooting for Zaan and Lexi to get their HEA. I will admit I wanted to knock some common decency in Lexi's bandmates. They are a piece of work. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
