The best pick possible. out does the 700 dollars vacuums.

It A 10 all the way.

It is a very good vacuum.  Good on any carpet especially the new one. I would have liked to have the extension on the hose attached instead of putting it on each time.

A quality vacuum.

Awesome and so much better than other brands out there.  Have purchased, tried and returned other brand vacuums-which felt more like toys than a real cleaner.  This one is a REAL vacuum cleaner with real power and self propels.  Does a great job even on heavy, bumpy Berber carpet.  I love it!

Kenmore Elite

I bought the Kenmore Progressive IntelliClean vacuum based on Consumer Reports reviews back in 2009 or so... it's 2022 and that first vacuum is still really awesome. I have a split-level home now and wanted to have a vacuum on each floor so I bought this one which as best I can tell is the newer version of my old favorite. The new model still has wonderful cleaning abilities comparable to my old fave and I love the 'dirt indicator light' though my old one had varying degrees of 'dirt' lights which I actually prefer. Based on the 'dirt light' I can always tell where my dog has been sleeping! Reviews I read on the new model mentioned the short hose. My remedy for that is to buy extension hoses/attachments for vacuuming ceiling fans, drapes, etc. however the two things that are bothersome (not issues with my first vacuum) are the way the hose connects. For some reason the designers were not thinking straight bc you wrap up the power cord over top of the vacuum hose so that you ALWAYS have to unwrap the cord to use the hose with any hand tools. The other thing is the noise. Not only is the new vacuum much louder than my old one, but when using the hose by hand to get into smaller spaces, like corners or baseboards, the air going through the hose makes such a loud screeching sound I'm sure it is dangerous to hearing and would definitely cause hearing loss. I actually can't believe Consumer Reports missed this in their testing of this vacuum. These two issues make me give this a 3-borderline 4 score. My old version of this vacuum gets a 10 star and I'd buy 2 more of them if I could.

Great vacuum but not as good as it's predecessor.

The worst vacuum I have ever bought or used, which is a remarkable achievement considering that my experience spans continents and half a century: the competition  for the bottom was tough. 
It looks ugly (like a sci-fi parody) and heavy and expensive.  But the real issue issue is ergonomics: it has a ridiculously short hose. If you take a step or try to reach over an item with the suction tools it either rolls on your toes or (more likely) tips and falls on your leg. Regularly. Like twice a minute. Did I mention it is heavy? And expensive? Suction power is good and so far it is reliable (which is not necessarily good news, as I would be happy to throw it out).

Bad stuff.  Have your insurance card handy

Vacuum was purchased online July 28, 2020.  Worked great.
Now my the brushes on my "agitator" are worn to nubs.
Cannot find a replacement anywhere.  Not at Sears.  Not at Walmart.  Not at different vacuum cleaner stores.  Nowhere.  Now I have a vacuum that doesn't vacuum well.  Walmart will not refund me.
I do not recommend the purchase of this vacuum because some parts are no longer available and you cannot count on the vacuum not breaking or wearing out.

Disappointed in less than a year.

There is no bag number and cannot find what bag I need to get.  I called kenmore they never heard of this vacuum cleaner. If they are selling a bagged vacuum cleaner there needs to be a bag or bag number and there isn't.
