Hi, I’m Kay Douglas, thanks for stopping by.

I am a registered psychotherapist and author. I have been working in the the field of abuse, and trauma recovery and behavior change for 30 years. This is work I am passionate about.

I love seeing people heal, change and grow. I am inspired by kindness and compassion and the courage often shown by people who have experienced adversity and are determined to make a difference.

As an author, I have written books on subjects that have touched my own life, ranging from overcoming abusive relationships to recovering from a challenging childhood to learning to live life to the full.

Kay.
