If you're in the Small Rig ecosystem, this cage works pretty well. The only complaint I have is that the arca rail on the bottom isn't quite compatible with the arca-mount V-Mount battery, almost necessitating the use of an additional plate, adding weight and height to the rigging.

I like this cage, but was annoyed it shipped without assembly instructions. Not difficult to figure out, but you may be puzzled by the chrome 2.5mm screw on the right side (from the back) plate. That goes through the bracket that holds the triangle retainer for a strap. Remove the plastic protector from the metal triangle, then remove the triangle. The hex key that comes with the kit is small and difficult to use. You will be happier is you have a 2mm (5/64") hex screwdriver.
