AIN'T SHE SWEET is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are sexy scenes if that is an issue for you. The series is set in Butler, Vermont. It features a real country store run by a third generation group of 10 siblings from a big family in the small community. Charlie is a spitfire of a sister. She is the computer wiz that controls the inventory of the store. No one messes with her stuff. She is tough as nails and will take on anyone that crosses her. She is single, has dated every guy in her town that is in age group except for one. That would be Tyler. He has asked numerous times but she always turns him down. He is just too perfect. Always looks great, has it all but just too much like her brother Hunter. Nope, not happening.

But then things take a turn. She winds up in his house, bed bound from an accident and things start to happen that are out of her control. Tyler is determined to win her heart. You will already love him. He is perfect!! A great love story for one more of the siblings. Lots of fun, humor and sex in this story. It is entertaining as well as interesting. I highly recommend it.

I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am not a bot. I am a reader and this is just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 6/4/2023.

I love this series, but then again I love all of Marie Force's books. She first hooked me on her 'Gansett Island' series, then the "Treading Water' series, and now this one has hooked me, too. I've also read a few other books of hers, too. In total; I now own 35 of these books. My favorite things about all of her books is the small town settings, and the wonderful, big boisterous families. The siblings are like any others; they're constantly taking pot shots at one another, but they also stand tall against any potiential harm others may cause them. Just the way it should be.

Her detailed descriptions of all of these wonderful places makes you want to visit. And of her characters make you feel like you've known them forever, enough so, that you'll find yourself wishing that you were part of their families. And just like in all her other series, we get to re-visit with some of our favorite characters in the past books. I love Elmer and Linc's meddling, those two always make me laugh. The wild and foot-loose twins, Luke and Landon, are always good for a few laughs along the way. And of course we can't forget the towns mascot, Fred, who's done his share in the meddling business, too...

I must say that in the beginning Charley was not my favorite female characters, but she sort of grew on me as the story unfolded. She was sort of brassy, sassy, and had a feistiness about her. Even her own siblings were sort of scared of her, but I wouldn't really consider her a strong person. A strong person wouldn't have let some jerk from the past rule her present day life. A strong person would have shown that jerk the door, and then washed her hands of him completely and got on with her life.

Tyler on the other hand....WHEW!!!! I think he's every woman's fantasy dream come true. He's gorgeous, filthy rich, has a wonderful family, a beautiful house, he loves to cook, but most of all he has a heart of gold, and the patience of Job. What's not to like?

With all that said; I must admit that I did feel the strong chemistry between Tyler and Charley. In fact; it was off the charts...HOT!!!! It was also very passionate and intriguing. Can't wait to see what happens next.

What a wonderful journey of Charlotte Abbott aka Charley and Tyler Westcott falling in love. *happy sigh*

There was romance, laughter, stubbornness, determination, perseverance, patience, respect, friendship, sex (hot sex), love... I enjoyed every moment from beginning to end.

Tyler is without a doubt one of the best heroes. His patience, determination, kindness and love won me immediately, and even though I feared Charley would hurt him, I also rooted for him to get his happy forever with her.

It was a delight watching him prove that not all men are scumbags. I cheered him with every step he took. I cheered Charley with every wall she destroyed. Behind that "cold" exterior she showed, there was a vulnerable woman just wanting someone to love her for who she was.

My only issue with them was that I felt a subject was left hanging. They talked about it but I still feel it wasn't resolved completely. I fear it will be an issue in upcoming books. Hopefully, it won't. And hopefully, we'll get their wedding, too.

But setting that issue aside, I really enjoyed their book. Also, props to Marie Force for including past characters and involving them in the story. They're not only mentioned, they participate and we see more of the relationship after their book ended. I especially loved catching up with my favorite couple, Will and Cameron (book 1: All You Need Is Love).

***OVERALL

Ain't this book sweet? Haha, absolutely. Charlotte and Tyler's love story managed to cheer me up and believe in love. Ain't this a bit cheesy? Maybe, haha, but it's the truth. And I LOVE THEM!

Fans of Marie Force, the Green Mountains series, and contemporary romance won't want to miss this one.

Just finished reading this book and was blown away with how good it was!! This is Charlotte "Charley" Abbott and Tyler Westcott\s story. In the previous books you meet Charley and you see her brisk attitude towards everyone she meets, even family. When you think about Charley having her book you think how can anyone get past her gruff attitude. Tyler and Charley are in the same jogging group, while Charley is trying to evade Tyler..Tyler is trying to wear down Charley..With Charley rejecting Tyler at every turn, Tyler remains persistent where she is concerned. When an accident occurs it opens up Charley's eyes to feeling she never thought she could feel again. She has major trust issue with men from her past. Can Tyler break down her defenses?? This is a must read!! Love all her Green Mountain books!! You must read them all!!
