The new and improved Finer Form Indoor Spin Bike is perfect for the spin enthusiast who wants to enjoy solid, vigorous workouts from the convenience of their home. Built from high-grade, reinforced steel, Finer Form is proud to call our bikes “gym-quality”. With heavy duty cranks, and a 35 pound Magnet Drive system, you’ll enjoy a smooth, high-energy ride from an indoor cycling bike that’s responsive to your body, and your needs. Our professional grade seat is also ergonomically designed to be both supportive, and ultra-comfortable as you ride. Completely adjustable for seat height and handlebar position, you can choose from dozens of potential positions to fit your body precisely the way you want it to.
Finer Form also provides the little touches that can make your workouts even better. Clip into the SPD compatible pedals with your cycling shoes or wear regular sneakers. Our high-quality LCD digital read-out provides more accurate results for your workout including RPM. The tablet holder allows you to put your screen directly in front as you spin.
As elegant as a Peloton Bike, Finer Form’s matte black texture fits with most home décor. And with the bike’s transportation wheel, you can easily move and store your bike where it’s most convenient. The handy water bottle holder will also keep you refreshed as you continue through your workouts.

Okay so just to start out, I am writing this review as someone who has used Peloton and Spinning brand bikes extensively. I considered buying either for quite some time, but my gym had bikes to use so I didn't want to drop thousands of $ on something I already had access to. With COVID-19 confining us to our apartment, I finally decided to pull the trigger and invest.
I researched all bikes on Amazon ranging from $150-$700, and this one came out on top in all of the categories I was looking for. You'll see that "Sunny" bikes have the highest number of reviews, and they are quite positive, but those bikes are not nearly as advanced/have the technology that this bike does. (They use chain and friction and don't have digital readers at the lower cost range)
Assembly: Took me about an hour- I was being very careful and moving slow to not make any mistakes. The directions will get you through it, but there are a few things they think you will just know to do that aren't actually spelled out.
Pros:
-Magnetic resistance (instead of friction/pad) and belt (instead of chain). This is the ideal combination for a smooth and quiet ride
-Digital tracking- Calories, RPM(needed for virtual spin classes aka cadence), speed, distance, and time
-Water bottle holder
-Ipad/tablet holder- this is EVERYTHING- you can watch a show or stream a spin class
-Sleek look/design- looks very expensive and quality
-Seat- I find the seat to be comfortable/normal for a spin bike
-Quality pedals- comes with gear to use spin shoes with it as well
-Last but not least, the price! $400 is an incredible value for something that stands up against the $2400 Peloton
Cons (these are noted in the other Amazon reviews, and I saw them before purchasing, but even with the cons this bike still comes out on top)
-Plastic sleeve of front tube came cracked, doesn't affect the functionality but the company is sending a new one anyway
-Doesn't have watts or measurement of resistance, you just have to measure by "feel" of how many turns you need
-Resistance doesn't go to "zero", but the company can instruct you to remove a magnet to fix this. Obviously not ideal, and they plan to fix in future model. If you choose not to remove, it's just a bit harder- which isn't always a bad thing for getting stronger!

Pros:
Cadence (RPM) on the monitor! So hard to find on less expensive bikes.
Assembly was relatively easy for one person to do alone, though some of the instructions were unclear.
Relatively quiet ride.
The seat is comfortable and wide - much more comfortable than typical spin bikes I've used in the past.
Price! If this holds up for even one year, I'll be pleased with the purchase.
Clip-in pedals - again, hard to find on less expensive models.
Feels relatively stable, even when I'm standing or doing jumps - the feet are a huge plus to help with adjustment on any uneven surface.
Water bottle and tablet/device holders are great to have included.
Cons:
As someone else mentioned, the resistance goes from "flat road" (not actually flat, but lowest resistance) to "nearly impossible" with very little in between - it seems like 5 turns does nothing, and 6 nearly stops the wheel.
Despite this apparently being the new and improved bike with lower starting resistance, the flat road is still far from a flat road.
Assembly - there were some extra pieces that I don't know where they belong or where they came from; not the most descriptive instructions.
Handlebars are a bit narrow and uncomfortable to rest on, and get slippery when sweaty (not sure if it's the material?).
The adjustment levers for the seat and handlebars aren't super easy; you have to fully unscrew and remove to adjust. It's just me riding, so it's not an issue, but would be if more than one person were wanting to ride and adjust regularly.
The monitor doesn't make much sense (to reset, you hold down "mode" - not "reset"??).
The pulse monitor isn't accurate - but not a priority at all for me (might be for others).
Water bottle holder - it's in a place where my knee sometimes hits it when standing.
Pros:
- Materials seem very high quality, especially for the price I paid
- Uses a magnetic wheel mechanism, which is very smooth and feels upscale
- Very adjustable - fits both me (5'2") and my husband (6'1") just fine and is easy to make the adjustments. Other reviews mention that it might not work for those <5' - this rings true for me as I have to put everything on the lowest options.
- Comes with hardware to clip in with cycling shoes or you can just use regular shoes - this has worked fine for me
Cons:
- No "zero resistance" setting. I haven't been too bothered by this, the lowest setting is quite easy for me, even as I was just starting out.
- No numbered settings. If you're using peloton or other cycling classes this may make it challenging to follow along with exactly what they're doing.
- No integrated tablet. This isn't a problem for me since I just watch TV while riding, but this just comes with a low-tech tablet or phone tray.
- The electronic display is a bit unintuitive and pretty low-tech. Took me a while to figure it out and you're not going to get any super detailed data on your rides, but it works well and I think will meet the needs of most casual exercisers.
