i recently built a sim rig for American truck simulator and needed a shifter to finish it up. After some searching i found this lil gem! Great price and works great with my Logitech G920. No programming needed. plugged it in and my pc immediately recognized it. Shifts feel good and precise. And is a little loud but when your immersed in the game, it just becomes part of the experience! If you dont have it...you NEED it!!

Bought this about a year ago. Have been using it on regular basis. Really nice shifter. I bought the 7+R version and wish I would have bought the 6+R instead. The top plate is very generous with its opening for the gears and it is VERY easy to miss 5 and 6 and go into 7 or R. I had to design and 3D print my own plate to better guide the rod into the gear selection. I would imagine with 6+R it would be much better as there would be no 7th to go into and R based on the plate design I'm seeing in the photos would provide a bit of a wall before sliding into it, so you shouldn't go into it accidentally.

Overall the mechanics are designed really well and should hold up for a long time, until the switches start to fail. I don't know the quality of the switches and your most used gears 2,3,4 will probably start wearing out first. However the feel is really nice and clicky. I opened it up just to see how it is designed and it is very simple but very effective. The movement of the rod is separated into two mechanical sections, the up/down motion is achieved by moving the rod through a set of bearings that are spring loaded, so you get a nice, mechanical, metal on metal, positive feel of clicking into a gear, very satisfying. The side to side motion is just moving against four spring, no additional bearings, the whole assembly is pretty much free-floating on four springs. The gear gates of the top plate is what holding the stick in its side to side position and the bearings hold the stick in its up/down position. Overall a very simple but again, very tactile feel and very satisfying to click into a gear.

The sequential adapter is also a very simple affair, it is simply a small piece of plastic that goes onto the shaft and blocks you from going side to side within the gates, and also prevent you to fully click into the gear but still pushes on the switches. I'm not using it though since I prefer the full range of gates.

Overall, really happy with one. Bought a billiard ball shifter knob for it as well and absolutely love the look and feel.

I race in VR, and have been using this in RaceRoom Experience and iRacing. Cannot comment on any other game compatibility.

Get 6+R.
