Not what I hoped for

The plastic construction of the cold shoe mount and the other screw mounts does not bode well for longevity. You set it up and then tighten the single screw and all three articulation points lock at once. Seems cool at first but gets clunky when actually making adjustments in real word stations. I would have preferred each point to have its own lock. Don't have the camera pointing up or down with any kind of weight at the end of the arm ( I was using a Lume Cube). The cold shoe lock could hold that little weight in place.I will keep the piece because it might come in handy used on a light stand to get a flash or LED light precisely placed near a subject.
