Customers are mixed about the ease of use of the video game accessories. Some mention that the configuration app is very easy to use, and offers a comprehensive guide to what everything is. The paddles are really comfy and easy to move. The controller was just plug and play, and pretty seamless functionality with PC. However, some customers say that they have to press a bit harder than on the normal Xbox One, there's no click, and that the buttons are too far down to press effectively consistently. It was annoying to get used to at first, but the extra buttons are pretty nice.

Customers are dissatisfied with the stickiness of the video game accessories. They mention that the stick drifts and loses its full range of motion. This can cause frustration and issues during gameplay. The sticks are loose and wiggly out of the box, and are more resistant to moving. This makes it difficult to move in FPS and can lead to unbalanced move/look speeds.

I bought the controller for $89 on Amazon last year, and I think it's worth it. I wish it was Bluetooth with a wired option, but oh well. For the price I think it's pretty good.
This was my first remappable controller, and when I have to use a regular Xbox controller again it's a bummer. If you use any controller adapters for the sticks they won't fit these because the tops are wider than the ones on a regular xbox controller. Unless they make ones for this controller specifically, but idk.
Pros:
1. I like the short, wide control sticks.
2. It has rubberized grips
3. It has quick trigger locks for less trigger pull. Very nice when playing FPS games.
4. It's easy to remap the buttons and customize the light effects.
5. I don't have too hard a time with the extra front buttons, in between between two triggers, but all the new buttons take some getting used to. Some controllers have all four map-able buttons on the bottom of the controller, but this one has two of them on the front. I'm pretty used to them now, but at first I was always missing them because they're kind of small. I'm fine with them now, and I can use all four of the new buttons together pretty well.
6. The cord is nice and long, and it doesn't get tangled like a cheaper cord might.
7. The 2 bottom paddles are really comfy and easy to use.
8. You download an app to your Xbox to remap the buttons, and it's super easy.
9. The cord has a breakaway feature so it doesn't just rip out of your system when it gets pulled to hard (VERY helpful). And it's sturdy enough that it doesn't disconnect on it's own.
10. It's got a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones/mic if you need it. (I bought a really cheap back-up headset, and it works, but the lights on the sides don't light up when I use it through the controller. Which is fine for me because the audio and mic still worked, but it might not light up your headset if it's similar.)
Cons:
1. Having a controller like this makes it really easy to bump the buttons on the bottom when you're trying to put the controller down or use it for non gaming stuff.
2. No accessories or customization. It is what it is.
3. No Bluetooth option (but I knew that and didn't want to pay extra for it)
4. I'm pretty sure you can't switch profiles while you're playing? I could be wrong, but I think you have to use the app. Some controllers I believe have a button feature that allows you to switch button layouts on the fly. Not that big a deal, but it would be cool.
This controller though really changed most of what I've felt is wrong with the quality of Microsoft's controllers. The D-pad is just like I've always wanted from an Xbox style controller and each button at last clicks just right. My only minor complaint is the RB and LB feels less than intuitive to press due to the ergonomics of the controller. I works very well with both my PC and Xbox one X. Going to say now that this controller will be all I use on any Xbox from now on. Now as for pros and cons:
PROS:
- Separated D-pad is what I love most. It can make a real impact if you are like me and tend to hit off center where on a MS controller it will cause a different direction than what you intended.
- Much better face buttons with a smooth defined click.
- A tighter slightly smaller frame and a bit more comfortable shape in hand.
- Triggers feel good both with and without using the stop. It's a notable improvement over the standard controller.
- A quality long cable for living room use.
- 4 programable buttons for use on PC
CONS:
- The RB + LB buttons could be improved some. It's still way better than Microsoft controllers however.
- No wireless. Doesn't really matter to me, but it's worth noting considering the cost here.
- The RGB light is kind of bright for me.
I got this during Prime day, but now having used it I would say it's worth the MSRP. I rate this a 9.5/10 because other than my nit picking it's near perfection for a wired controller.
