Stellar features for sound

The CT-X3000 is a portable, sound-exploration dream. It has a 17-track MIDI data recorder and a 42-part mixer that let you craft elaborate sequences and songs. You can also record up to 100 different phrases and replay them using the phrase pads, adding all kinds of interesting aspects to your performances. Create new and interesting tones directly on the keyboard, or interact through USB with your computer and control external sounds and virtual instruments. There are also assignable expression pedal inputs on the CT-3000, allowing for external creative control of various parameters — it's all up to you with the CT-X3000.

This keyboard It will fit your needs

I will say after my son and ai have been playing the Casio CT-X3000 keyboard for a couple of weeks now we are extremely happy with it! The sound of this keyboard is pretty darn nice I'm impressed, the speakers have a great external sound wow!

For the $$…. 5 stars

I was back and forth on this Casio and a Yamaha psr… I've tried out both at the local shop. For what it's worth, you can't go wrong with either. Sweetwater had a $60 bonus bucks offer with the Casio so I went with it. Got the sustain pedal w/ the bonus bucks.
I'm a guitarist first but looking to develop my keyboard chops. My old hand me down board just wasn't inspiring.
About the board: it's a massive upgrade vs my 30 yr old keyboard. The touch sensitive keys feel great they feel slightly better to me than Yamaha psr's at the same price. The sounds are great and endless. This is a fantastic start for an aspiring pianist or keys player. The rhythms sound great and are infinitely more fun than a metronome. It's really amazing what this can do for the price. Are there better boards out there? ABSOLUTELY, but you have to pay significantly more for something better.

I love this new keyboard. And it's more than I expected. I'm still discovering all the features. And a great price.

Awesome for the money.

After researching the best budget synth, that would meet my needs, for almost a year, I purchased a demo model CTX3000. It arrived in the original box with all the hardware, manual, and packing materials, double boxed in a huge box. There was so much bubble wrap! If it wasn't for the florescent green Demo sticker on the box I would have believed it was brand new. Anyways, after unboxing and setting up, I proceeded to go through all 800 tones. Wow! I had watched countless videos online with quality my Yamaha studio headphones on. The videos don't do this keyboard justice. The AIX Sound Source is phenomenal. Granted, there are a lot of cheesy tones, but that is to be expected on any keyboard. But keep in mind, they are only cheesy till you run them through your guitar pedal board or manipulate them with your software of choice. The keys feel great, but the response will take me a little getting used to. I am a guitarist first. I record primarily ambient soundscapes using my guitar, pedal board, and various custom built noisemakers. The Casio CTX3000 is already perfectly at home in my recording setup. If you are on the fence, get it, give it a try. You won't regret it.

My first keyboard

This keyboard is extremely nice. It's very comfortable, and the sound is great. There is a lot of different sounds, and settings. It was definitely worth the money imo.
