PROS:
This grinder is built like a TANK. I am far more worried for my floor and table cracking if I were to drop it than I am worried about any small dents on the grinder from the fall.
Cranking the grinder by itself is as satisfying as grinding it with coffee beans because of how effortless and silent the crank handle is.
The wide range in different sizes of grinds reaches from espresso (possibly Turkish) to cold brews, yet the size of the grinds are exceptionally uniform for what you set it to.
CONS:
Despite the tank-like construction, the grinder will expectedly be much heavier and bulkier even with the foldable handle crank.
I find grinding finely, near espresso setting, burns my arms from how labor intensive it is, but Lido also carries an espresso edition (lido e, lido e-t) to ease the cranking on fine settings.
BOTTOMLINE:
Great choice for home brewers who want an upgrade from blender-blade grinders or who do not like noisy and maintenance-prone motorized grinders. This thing is built to outlast and I don’t see myself buying another grinder any time soon!

Why did they design this with a top lid that doesn't actually secure on? It is a piece of rubber that simply "rests" on the top of the grinder. While grinding, it will come flying off and land in your sink or on a random kitchen surface. To avoid this, I have been grinding with no lid on. Inevitably a coffee bean or bean shard will come flying out the top during the course of grinding.
Is the expectation that the grinder remains perfectly still and vertical during a grinding session? Surely not. But why else would the designers not consider an open top to the grinder to be a problem worth addressing?
These are the mysteries that I ponder every morning while grinding my coffee. Maybe they'll solve it in a future model.
The plastic housing for unground beans is too wide for my hand and it gets really fatiguing to grind 35g. The screw holes between the grip area and the top also grind by thumb.
Grinding 35 grams takes far longer than I'd have expected and I'm not sure the grinds are as consistent as I was lead to believe.
It holds about 65 grams total so you've got to throw a few more grams on top if you want to brew a liter.
The good- it holds a decent amount, the stainless reservoir is nice (original model was plastic), the handle is nice, the plug on top is a nice touch.
Overall, I'd have spent more on a product that grinds faster or at least one that isn't as hard to hold.
