Beautiful case, trash PSU
4 Stars
Beautiful case, trash PSU
This case was used for my downsized gaming build and unfortunately it was not as great as I hoped. Mind you all parts were confirmed working properly before and after issues with this case.Build Quality: Great! The case feels very premium between the thick sheets of metal used and nice glossy finish of the glass at the top of the case. No compromises there.Build Parts List (Relevant later):I7 9700kAsrock phantom gaming z390i motherboard32gb Corsair Vengeance RGB ram (2x16gb)Nvidia Reference 2080 Super GPUCorsair H75 AIO with SP120 and HD120 fans3x more HD120 fans, one exhaust behind GPU and 2 intake on bottom of the caseCommander PRO for fan speed managementSamsung Evo 970 PLUS nvme and 1Tb Intel m.2 on the back of the board for storageThermal Grizzly Graphite Pad for TIMAssembly: Not bad, not great. This case would be 10x better without the included power supply, it is big! Not an SFX or SFF power supply, this is full ATX. Problems arise in building when trying to route cables around the huge power supply, and the short and mostly flimsy feeling cables only having one way they can possibly get to places. More on power supply later.... The included Qi charger is slow and the cable connected to the power supply is excessively long with nowhere to hide it.BAD: the power supply... I read reviews and opted to think oh it’s probably just a few bad ones mixed in the good batches. Well if it is the case (pun intended) I got unlucky and I’m very displeased since the build took 5+ hours to route all the cables the way I wanted them, upon turning the computer on everything was fine, ran unigine heaven and the computer shuts off while the cpu was only 60c... ok I investigate, anything power intensive ends up with the computer shutting off including other benchmarking software and gaming such as Modern Warfare and Rust all ended up with the computer shutting down.I end up grabbing my RM750x power supply from the previous build, plug it in and bam everything works fine, too bad I just got done paying $199+tax for a case because I wanted the power supply to go along with the case. I had no intentions of replacing the power supply considering the price of the case, but that may be the only option aside from returning the case as faulty (something I’m sure many have done). Will attempt to call customer service later and request for some of my money back and just keep the case and purchase a proper power supply instead of the trash that is included. Will update on response.Update 2/18/2020Received a partial refund for the faulty PSU (35% of purchase price) and in exchange neither I or Amazon Customer service had to deal with Inwin customer service in an attempt to RMA. Bought the Corsair SF600 platinum and it works like a dream, Qi charger was happily taken out as it charged extremely slowly anyway.Amazon Customer service: 5 stars as alwaysInwin Quality Assurance: 2-3 stars, case is still very nice. All in all I’ll give the item a 4 star now that the issues are ironed out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well-built case with incredible aesthetic
Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2020
I'm really impressed with what they've made here; this is a rock-solid mini-ITX case that dresses to impress, especially in the pink version. The darkened real-glass side panel that opens from the top creates an EZ-Bake Oven facade, and the LED underlighting is bright without creating glare; very tasteful. The top is covered by thin glass panel as well for an extra-glossy look, and it really comes together. Among a crowd of black metal bricks, this case really above the competition in its design.

Internally, it's a little tricky to build in (like any mini-ITX case) but they've provided a lot of nooks and hooks for good cable management. Assembly isn't a breeze, but I don't expect it to be a real roadblock for anybody.

The only real weakness of this case is, as others have noted, the included power supply. I haven't had any problems with heat or voltage (I suspect some people may be building up past the watt limit), but my real complaint is that it isn't modular. In a small case like this, hiding extra power cables can be a real challenge, so it's an odd decision to include a non-modular PS.

Overall, it's a great contender in a limited field, and I hope other manufacturers take note from the design of the A1 Plus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Case, Cable Management Tips Below
Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2021
Had the case for about a year now and its pretty solid, most notably the Qi Charger is a unique addition and the overall build quality of the case is superb. Everything still works the same as day 1 besides a clip I accidentally broke snapping my window back onto the case (it still latches on with 1). Some people are saying the PSU sucks but it's fine its most likely not going to give you issues unless you are really close to the 650w TDP or its actually faulty (For reference I am running a 2070 Super/Ryzen 5 2600 combo with and estimated ~330W TDP). Cable Management was a pain but that goes for all ITX cases (funny enough this was my first one); make sure you have a solid plan before you start building, I had to restart twice since I didn't plan beforehand. To save everyone a few hours of their life I'm going to add some tips here from my personal experience:

- Funnel your CPU cable through the top left(most) hole of your case (this was one of the reasons I had to restart)
- Funnel as many cables from the back of the case to the interior as you can before installing the motherboard, this will make things go much smoother
- Take the PSU Shroud off and have the GPU cable from the power supply hang from the side of the case instead of coming off the side of the shroud (see my build), you can hide it on the side but I got lazy
- If your motherboard has an M.2 slot, use that to save some space and an unnecessary SATA cable

If I think of any more tips, I'll add them later. Happy Building!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great case. Needs a few tweaks
Reviewed in Canada on September 3, 2021
I was recommended this case by a friend of mine. Needed something I could use with some spare parts I had laying around so I could sell an entire PC. For the money it’s really really good value: room for fans, wireless charger, 650w psu.

There are a few things That they can improve on the case that would make it 10/10 in my eyes:

1. 750 modular power supply. One of the biggest issues with this case is not only is the psu small wattage but also it’s non modular. I think a modular approach would help with cable management and make it less cramped to get motherboard in (might not be possible because of wireless charger)

2. Maybe a few more fans, even 3 pins pre installed. Think have a few more fans could give it really that value punch that would make it a no brainer for mini itx.

3. USB c front header. Just to fit in with more modern abs capable motherboards a USB c front header would be nice.

Nice ITX case with great RGB mood lighting and more than enough room for full size cpu cooler and mid size GPU. Only limitation is that there are only 2.5" drive bays (two mounted vertically)....worked around this by mounting a 3.5" HD in the case behind the front panel vertically (using a two sided tape to secure it, it's essentially invisible unless you open the case to look inside).
