This iron is great! Heats up super fast, easy to control and solder with. The stand with sponge and solder tube are useful, I'll probably use the XT60 battery adapter fairly soon, but nobody ever uses the ESD strap. The power supply is perfectly adequate, I wish the wire from the supply to the iron was more flexible (silicon instead of pvc insulation) but it works perfectly well. I found myself unplugging the iron after soldering with it, leaning it on the stand, setting up the next joint to solder, and replugging it in - it heats up that fast!

Within 10 minutes of using the iron my immediate thought was "Why did I wait to buy this?!?"

Got this to be part of a travel repair kit. Smaller in size that I thought (not a bad thing) and it powers up via the DC and USB C. Heats up far faster than I expected and seems to hold the temperature pretty well.

So far only used it to repair an XLR cable, but it worked great to remove the old solder and apply new. Will have to see how it holds up over time, but so far I like it!

I figured I would try it on this instead of getting my Weller out. Turned it to 350 degrees and I'll be darned
