Grills as well as my gas grill
I researched several of these electric grills, some of them at twice the cost of this one. I'm glad I didn't go for the more expensive ones, as this one is perfect. I actually use it on my balcony at my condo because I don't want to have the odors of fried burgers, fish, etc lingering inside for hours after. It is perfect for what I wanted, leaves nice grill marks and has the taste of barbequed food. The pamphlet warns not to use "outdoors" but I believe that's because it can't get wet. I bring it back inside and clean it after every use, and there's been no problems. I've used it several times and the only downfall is that the grill plate is a little time consuming to clean (just the underneath part because the nonstick coating is only on the top surface). But overall, it's a great product and a good buy. Note: for those who would use it indoors, it does not have a fan but, as long as you remember to add water to the pan under the grill, most smoke is absorbed (and not a problem if used outside anyway).

UPDATE: The first time I use this I lined the drip pan with aluminum foil for easy cleaning. It is a non-stick surface so the second time I did not line the pan and now the drip pan is hopelessly spotted with stains from food drippings. Dropped the rating back to 4 stars.

My new "go to" appliance for quick and tasty food. Easy to use, dishwasher safe griddle and drip pan. Accurate heating gauge and heating element. I bought the grill and it would be perfect to be able to buy the grill/griddle combo plate as an accessory. I use this on my stove top, under the fan to draw out any smoke/odor and put water in the drip pan as well. I suggest setting it on a baking pan to catch any water condensation. It a great alternative to outdoor grilling, especially during colder weather. Highly recommend, would buy again.Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2022

Living in Florida, grilling in the Summer can be brutal... unless you have this baby! This electric grill is portable, easy to use, easy to clean and produces very little smoke using the water tray beneath the grill plate. The non-stick service easily wipes clean even after using sticky marinades. Whether you live in a rental situation where you cannot have an outdoor grill or you just want the convenience of grilling up a couple of steak tips or burgers ..etc, on a busy weeknight, I highly recommend this item which checks all of my boxes for indoor grilling. Great job Mueller!!
