Or do the gods have other plans for her?

Can’t get enough of these characters
I love this author’s mythology stories. I have previous read the Underworld books so it was nice to see what the twins were all about. They are adorable and funny. Not sure what I think about Cupid now. But I guess he’s still a favorite. His mother is awful. I don’t think I like her at all now. I know this seems vague but didn’t want to spoil anything. Ellie is a pretty good character with genuine feelings. She is crazy for the twins but doesn’t want to choose. She loves them both. The twins have such a bond and love for one another that they don’t want to see the other crushed with rejection , yet they are jealous of one another. It’s a wonderful story.
I’m not crazy about the narration. The voices seemed forced at times like she had trouble doing them. I had to speed my audio up so it didn’t sound like over pronouncing. Ellie’s voice was so faint and high pitched that it made her sound immature at times. I think I would’ve liked her character better with a different narrator. I’m not sure why I feel this way because this narrator has done plenty other audiobooks I’ve listened to and I loved them. So it may just be me, it’s not enough to take you out of the story though. I felt like I was there in the moment. The only thing, I wish it would’ve gotten down and dirty with both twins more so than it did lol.
Sweet And Charming!!!!!!
This was an incredibly sweet story. It is well written and the characters were beautifully developed. I loved how the Greek Gods are used throughout the story. It is a story that has beautiful and vivid descriptions. These descriptions are easily able to be pictured. The chemistry can be felt throughout the story between Ellie, Phobos, and Deimos. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.
If you love Greek gods you will love this book
This book was amazing. It started off a little bit slow but got going really quick. I loved Ellie she was really brought to life in this book. It was great to see a love story between her, Fear, and Panic. The spin that explains the more in-depth role of those two gods was really interesting and added a lot of depth to the characters. Thankfully it didn’t fully end in a cliffhanger. Definitely can’t wait to read the next one. I’m super excited to see how working at the horse farm with no powers works out for the gods.
