    Maybe not a typical use, but we recently got some new baby chicks and wanted to keep an eye on them for their safety and our peace of mind. Turns out the entertainment value has been a big plus as well, as we love seeing their antics and listening to all the little noises they make. The camera unit is under a covered area about 85 ft up a slope from the house, and the reception, picture quality and sound are just fine for our use.
    We do get an occasional connection drop but it always re-connects after a few seconds, so we're probably using it near the limits of its range, but overall this has been a great choice for us and we really enjoy having it.

    I spent a lot of time researching the best baby monitor to get, and I am glad we picked this one. First of all, it doesn’t connect to wifi. The screen is very large (but still small enough to easily carry around) and the interface is very easy to use (including hot buttons for volume and screen brightness). The picture is very clear: as a paranoid mom, I can easily see the baby breathing on the screen. The ability to connect multiple monitors and view all cameras in a split screen is excellent.

    When I had a question about the product, the seller was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this product!

I had this camera since November and all of the sudden the camera dies extremely fast (I keep it plugged to charger and sometimes it disconnects), the screen often becomes blurry which means I can’t use it .. I’m scared the camera will shut down while I’m sleeping and I won’t hear my child. I do not recommend

    I have nanit camera at home but I don’t fully feel comfortable with it because it’s connected to Wi-Fi ..I decided to purchase hellobaby and It’s a great camera- it doesn’t connect to the internet so you won’t have to worry about someone breaking, big screen and love that there is an option to play a lullaby for your baby or check temp on the room. However, once in a while the screen gets blurry and then gets back to normal .. for that reason honing it a 4 start review.

    I cant explain how happy I am with that baby camera. Before I got this one i use couple others which I didnt like ( the monitor was small not a good features, Not a good quality of the picture as well as complicated to set up)

    My only complaints (which for the money I shouldn't even be making!) are that I wish the screen thing had a clip I could attach to me, or an app I could connect the video feed to. Also, I don't really have any need for the voice feature, but we did test it out just for fun and it's pretty laggy and hard to use.

    Liked this monitor initially but noticed the screen and sound flicker a few times. Then, woke up to hear my son crying from across the hall and the monitor was completely silent. He had been awake for 20 minutes and I didn’t hear him because at some point overnight the sound cut out. NOT worth it. Turned the parent unit off and back on and the sound worked again but I don’t trust that it won’t happen again.

     So, first things first - great customer service! I messaged about our defective monitor (our fault it broke); they replied promptly and replaced it with this newer model.
    The night vision is a lot clearer. It's nice that you can adjust volume without having to go in to the menu first. We like the lullabies, the option to add more cameras and the long battery life. You can also turn off the screen without turning off the unit. The range is really good, and doesn't cut out like our previous model did.
