Maize Bishop spends her days cooking and baking for her familyÕs bed and breakfast. When a mysterious newcomer flirts with her over drinks, she gives in to his mesmerizing green eyes and goes home with him.

Now that he works for her familyÕs ranch, sheÕll avoid him at all costs.

There are only so many places to hide, and keeping her distance is easier said than done. After months of giving her space, GavinÕs tired of waiting for Maize to admit what he knows they both wantÑa second round between the sheets. SheÕs too young, heÕs too arrogant, and together, theyÕre electricÑthe perfect recipe for disaster.

**Wrangling the Cowboy is a complete standalone and can be read without reading any of the other books or series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**

Wrangling the Cowboy is the third book in Kennedy Fox’s Circle B Ranch Series but can be read as standalone. This story follows Maize, daughter of John and Mila (from Chasing Him). I can’t get enough of the Bishop family. They are protective and loving and also hilarious, fun and hard working. Maize cooks and bakes for the family’s bed and breakfast. She has been burned by love in the past so she is not interested in anything long term. She has a one night stand with a sexy cowboy, Gavin whom is new in town but he leaves town never expecting him to return. All that changes when a few months later he is back and working on the Bishop Ranch. Gavin is an ex-bull rider and has just retired from the rodeo circuit. He is looking to settle down. He is gorgeous inside and out and a total sweetheart. He is pure cowboy and has all the charm you would expect from a Southern Gentlemen. There were moments when Maize completely frustrated me with her stubbornness but she is a Bishop after all so I suppose I should have expected it. I just wish she would have given into Gavin a little sooner. She really made him work for her attention and affection. The two had some seriously intense chemistry though! It is addicting and steamy. I say it during every KF review but it bares repeating this series is one of my all times favourites and this author duo does not disappoint with writing a combination of a steamy, sexy and swoon-worthy story. If you love a little bit of angst, small towns and sexy cowboys you NEED to pick this one up.

4 Star Wrangling The Cowboy (Circle B Ranch #3) by Kennedy Fox AUDIO REVIEW: This was an entertaining read that had me invested from the first to the last chapter. I really liked Gavin and Maize, in fact I like the whole Bishop family . Gavin has led a hard life as a Bull rider and now faced with retirement he takes a job on the Circle B Ranch. Fate works in mysterious ways and he is shocked, but not unhappy to meet up with Maize again, after all she left him after a night of passion. Gavin is determined to show Maize that they could be good together, even though she is equally determined to avoid him. I really liked these two together, the push and pull of their relationship made for interesting reading. The chemistry between them is intense, the banter at times witty and the secondary characters were as entertaining as the main. Narrated by Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter, their performances were enjoyable, their voices easy to listen to and they really brought the characters to life for me.

Wrangling the Cowboy is all sorts of adorable, although it is a little strange to witness a grown-up version of the little girl, Maize, we first encountered in Chasing Him falling in love. I love the way all of the characters interconnect and weave together. Alongside the pleasure of catching up with all of the previous characters and their wonderfully huge family. Maize is a wonderful cook and works in the family owned Bed and Breakfast. She is completely in control when she is in the kitchen, it is just the other areas of her life where her insecurities rise. Badly burned in a previous relationship, Maize is determined to avoid entanglements with cowboys at all costs. Breaking her sacred rule for a smoking hot one night stand, Maize doesn’t expect to see the handsome cowboy again. Although fate has other plans in store when Gavin begins work with Jackson as a horse trainer. Gavin has made a name for himself in the rodeo world as a champion bull rider. After so many years on the road, Gavin is ready to settle down in one place and put down roots. He hasn’t been able to get Maize out of his mind since their first encounter and is shocked when she pretends not to know him when they cross paths again. There is no denying the connection and chemistry between Gavin and Maize, as much as Maize wishes she could. Gavin has his work cut out for him in proving to Maize that he is here to stay. I loved the way in which Gavin was able to chip away the ice around Maize’s heart in order to rekindle the flame burning between them. Unfortunately, things are never that simple and a new job opportunity for Gavin outs their fledgling relationship in danger. There is only one way to find out if Gavin and Maize are able to overcome the obstacles that stand between them and their happily ever after – read Wrangling the Cowboy.
