Circle B Ranch #3

Wrangling the Cowboy

Rate this book
Bull riding is all Gavin’s known for years, but when it’s time to retire, he can’t let go of the reckless lifestyle. He finds a job that brings him to a small-town Texas ranch and face-to-face with the woman who snuck out after their one-night stand.

She can pretend she’s over him, but he’s not letting her go that easily.

Maize Bishop spends her days cooking and baking for her family’s bed and breakfast. The last thing she has time for is a relationship, especially when there are no single men within a hundred-mile radius. When a mysterious newcomer flirts with her over drinks, she gives in to his mesmerizing green eyes and goes home with him.

Now that he works for her family’s ranch, she’ll avoid him at all costs.

There are only so many places to hide, and keeping her distance is easier said than done. After months of giving her space, Gavin’s tired of waiting for Maize to admit what he knows they both want—a second round between the sheets. It may only take eight seconds to win a championship, but he’ll prove to her that he can go all night long.

She’s too young, he’s too arrogant, and together, they’re electric—the perfect recipe for disaster.

**Wrangling the Cowboy is a complete standalone and can be read without reading any of the other books or series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**

DNF @ 65%

It was super repetitive and the characters were starting to annoy me. Why couldn't they just be grown adults and have a fucking conversation. Also, the sex scenes were terrible like really, really bad.

Gavin just retired from being a bull rider. After many years of the abuse the body takes he knew his time was now. So he takes a job at a small town ranch and sees the woman he had a one night stand with.
Maize Bishop is the cook at her families Bed and Breakfast. Her dream is to have a catering business.
Then she sees Gavin, who she had a one night stand with, and pretends she doesn't know him or remember him. After all she isn't getting involved with someone who works at the ranch, again.
Gavin hasn't gotten over her and wants a chance with her. He is quite a bit older than her and ready to settle down.
Love the Bishop family. There are so many of them, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins and they are all supportive of each other.

⭐️ 5 "I'll Tame Your Attitude" Stars ⭐️
I’ve been a devoted fan of the Bishop family since the Bishop Brothers Series first released. This second generation of Bishops featured in the Circle B Ranch Series are as interesting as their parents. After the previous novel introduced me to Maize and Gavin’s back story, I just couldn’t wait to finally read Wrangling the Cowboy. This novel didn’t disappoint and is my new favorite in the series. It had me laughing one moment and swooning in the next instant. I was entranced by this well-matched couple!

After their magical one-night-stand, Maize is determined to ignore the tangible connection she felt toward Gavin and keep denying his advances. She’s incredibly driven in her work as the cook at the B&B and has no place to let her heart open up to some cowboy passing through town. She’s just so sassy and the banter with Gavin is delicious to witness. As much as she wants to keep rejecting him, there’s just this undeniable link between them and she feels drawn to his undeniable appeal.

Gavin is a fine mix of charming, alluring and so virile. He’s in his mid-thirties and tired of playing the field. He’s determined to prove to Maize that their one night together was something special. I adored how he doesn’t abandon his courtship despite all his failures at getting the girl of his dreams. He knows what he wants and what they could be together.

Their story is truly so romantic and progresses over the span of a year, so you can say it’s slow burn and captivating. Every moments between them had me hooked and gave me the sweetest sensations. I couldn’t wait for Maize to admit her defeat and give in to her man! As much as the romance is swoon-worthy, they’re also very passionate and combustible!

All the scenes between Maize and her cousins are truly hilarious and so entertaining. Same thing with the guys teasing each others. As it’s always the case, the Bishops are united and prove once again why they’re one of my absolute favorite fictional family.

Wrangling the Cowboy is exactly the kind of book I expected for this couple. I loved every moments of this read that also gave me more reasons to be excited about the upcoming books in the series. Elle and Kenzie’s stories promise to be wonderful too.

My Rating: 4.5 Stars
Trope: Cowboy/Rancher Romance | Age Gap

It’s no question that I love Kennedy Fox and all the books they write. Their heroes are swoony, the female leads always sassy and fun, and the plots are always exciting. That my friends, is no different with Wrangling the Cowboy and I enjoyed this sexy little treat so much! My only complaint is that I wanted MORE from Gavin and Maize’s story. It all happened too fast and I felt so sad when the story ended. I simply wanted to see them for a longer period of time because I fell hard and fast for them (especially Gavin).

If you’re a Kennedy Fox fan like I am, this is another must read!

You spend months waiting for a book and then devour it in a few hours... anyone else? Gosh, I swear I picked up this book and I COULD NOT stop reading! I say this every single time a new book releases but damn I love spending time at the Circle B Ranch so freaking much!!! This family and their significant others own me.

Gavin and Maize were so fun, I was laughing my butt off since the first chapter. It was seriously such a joy to read. I loved the settings, their little moments, the sibling relationship between Maize and Kenzie, and also the friendships between the cousins. And Gavin and Maize? Sweet lord! Their chemistry was hawTT omg, I hadn't been expecting all that sexiness from these two so I was very pleasantly surprised there.

What was also such an amazing surprise was Gavin. Oh man, he was something else! I love that he knew from the first moment that he and Maize had something special, no matter how much she pretended they didn't. No matter how Maize acted towards him, he never gave up on pursuing her and making her walls crumble. Gosh, I loved that so much. And when she finally opened her eyes to what she might be letting walk away, I love that he made her work for a second chance. That is so unusual to see in books and I enjoyed it so so much. It was superrr fun. I just seriously loved these two. I think so far they were my favorite couple in the series. There was just something about them and their journey that just did it for me - it was funny, sweet, so hot, and just such a good time.

As with every book these ladies give us so much of the other characters and I finally got tons of my favorite Bishop Brother, Jackson! Gah, I was so happy to see so much of him. He's always such fun and I missed him so much. And of course, we can't forget the teases at future books. We got so many hints at the next two books and gah I am already sooo excited for both. I am positively dying to know what Grayson did to make Kenzie hate him so much. Dying! And to learn Connor's story, I think it's gonna be very interesting, a possible love triangle with Doctor Stephen, his ex-bff? Hmm, I'm feeling it and I'm ready!

It has been a hot minute since I’ve been with the Bishop family and let me just say this, it was so amazing and fun being back on the ranch. Granted the only book I’ve read is Needing Him but oh man the lasting impression this family leaves will warm your heart. This large family loves unconditionally. They know how to work hard and play harder. Well anyways in this spin off series of the Bishop brothers quartet, the kids are all grown up and this book is about the lovely 24 almost 25 year old Maize. She is the head chef/cook for her family’s B&B on the ranch. She is in charge of planning weekly menus and making sure all guests and ranch hands are fed. She is also a walking definition of “once bitten, twice shy”. She has been burned in the past when she fell in love with a cowboy and he left. Enter 35 year old retired bull rider Gavin. They meet at a bar, they hit it off, and then they hit the sheets. Come morning, Maize is gone and Gavin is left dumbfounded. Little do they know that Gavin is the new cowboy her family has hired to help with the horses. What follows is a bunch of denial on Maize’s part and hot as hell flirting on Gavin’s part. I loved this book so much. Kennedy Fox knows how to write fast paced cowboy romances. Seriously no one writes them like Kennedy Fox.

Read this if you like:
-cowboy/ranch romances
-age gaps
-one night stands
-workplace romance
-angsty romance
-southern charm
-big and warm families
-hot chemistry
-small town

Wrangling the Cowboy is another amazing story from Kennedy Fox! I was addicted to Gavin and Maize’s story right out of the gate – such incredible chemistry between them from the second they met, and that passion continued throughout the story.

Gavin.......he is sure one patient man! I don't know how many guys would wait and long as he did for Maize – even when she continued to push him away (or pretend that she didn’t know him). And after Maize did it one too many times – and then realized how much she truly cared for Gavin – I loved how he made her work for it and prove that she truly did want him. He played the game for a while, but now, as he said, “Actions always speak louder than words, sweetheart.”

This second generation of Bishops finding love on the ranch…..ahh, I just can’t get enough! And seeing a couple of the other books hinted at in this one (Elle & Connor…..Kenzie & Grayson) – I already have my bags packed for the next trip back to the Circle B Ranch!

It is time to head back to the Circle B ranch with one of my favorite families, the Bishops.

Maize Bishop is all grown up and she is the head cook at the B&B and an insanely talented at it. She has been burned in the past when it came to a relationship and has walls up to protect herself. However, one night complaining about love and relationships she meets a handsome stranger, aka Gavin, and has a one-night stand that rocked her world, until a few months later that handsome stranger is now working on the ranch. Gavin is done with the rodeo circuit and looking to settle down and lands in a small Texas down and on the Circle B Ranch.

I love Maize and Gavin. They have some insane chemistry that is just heating up the pages from the very beginning. Then add in the cat and mouse game they play and I was completely hooked, especially when it came to Maize having to chase. Maize is stubborn and frustrating at times. Gavin is sweet, swoony and so lovable from the very beginning. There are so many sweet scenes between them that just make you smile and there are scenes between them that will have you looking for something to fan yourself with. Though, there is a ten-year age gap between Maize and Gavin, it really never seems like that and doesn’t give off the traditional age gap vibes.

Wrangling the Cowboy is a great addition to the Circle B Ranch series! A MUST READ and I can’t wait to head back to the ranch already!

I’m currently riding a high from reading Wrangeling the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox 🔥 I’ve said it a million times before, but I’ll say it again... These ladies are geniuses.
I was lucky enough to get ARC of this amazing book. I’m so happy I’ve read it, but also mad at myself, because now I have to wait months for their next release 💔
Mark your calenders for October 13th, because you do not want to miss out on GAVIN FOX 🤤 It might be a tie for me, on who is my new bookboyfriend; Gavin or Diesel 🤫
I probably sound crazy, but I read the book in 5 hours. I couldn’t put it down. I have the same problem, whenever I read a book my Kennedy Fox 💜
From the very first page the chemistry between Gavin and Maize was about to COMPUST. You could feel the heat and desire, between these two and it only got hotter🔥
I loved everything about these two. The belly-laughing moments, to those tender moments when they would just look at each other and you could feel the love ❤️
All I have to say is, I missed the Bishop Family and they are back, better than ever 🤠💜🤠

Save a horse ride a cowboy - or a former bull rider.

Mazie and Gavin‘s story has been coming for a while now and I‘m very very satisfied with how their story progressed and played out.
We got some glimpses in the previous books so we got to know both characters a little bit already.

Gavin is a retired bull rider. He moved on to the Circle B ranch to train horses. Mazie is the cook in the B&B. They met in a bar before and had a one-night stand.
But after finding out that Gavin works for the family ranch. Mazie suddenly doesn‘t remember him.

I loved how Gavin fought for Mazie from the start, but also didn‘t give in so easily once she realized her feeling.
Mazie is as stubborn as a mule and it‘s so fun to see them both together.

I really enjoyed their story. It was steamy, sweet and a little bit angsty

The push and pull of this relationship grabbed me and didn’t let go until the very last page! Wrangling the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox is the story of Gavin and Maize. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and I loved this sexy and steamy story. Gavin is a man who will fight for what he wants and Maize is going to give him a run for his money. This small town romance gives you all the feels and will have you packing up and moving to Circle B Ranch! I cannot wait for more books in the series!

✯✯5 Gavin Filled Stars!!!✯✯

I’m so in love with The Bishop family and everything about their Circle B Ranch!! Ever since I read Taming Him I knew the Bishop family was going to own me and every new book Kennedy Fox release’s from their family I fall even harder. Wrangling the Cowboy was no different.

Gavin Fox had made his career in bull riding. Gavin is 35yrs Old and he’s an award winning bull rider and retired at the top of the game. Now he’s looking forward to the next phase of his life.

Gavin is interviewing to be a horse trainer at The Circle B Ranch. After his interview he goes to The Circle B Saloon that the Bishop’s own as well. While there he eavesdrops on a conversation between the bartender and her beautiful sister.

When Gavin starts talking to the beautiful girl they end up playing pool. Maize is unlike most girls he’s met while traveling for bull riding. They end up leaving together and have an amazing night together. Gavin thought so but when he woke up Maize was gone without waking him or leaving a letter or number.

When Gavin started working at the ranch he’d hoped he’d run into Maize again bc he hasn’t stopped thinking of her since their night together. Gavin was shocked to learn Maize is the head cook at the B&B and she’s a Bishop. Gavin was shocked when he went to say hi to Maize and she acted like she didn’t know him. Gavin has tamed bulls that were untamable, so he’s going to enjoy the game Maize wants to play bc he’s not giving her up.

Maize Bishop got burned years ago by one of the ranch hands that she made herself one rule. Don’t date anybody that works for her family.

Maize is in charge of the kitchen in her families B&B. She’s always lived on the ranch and always planned on working with the family business. Maize also wants to have her own catering business.

Maize going home with Gavin isn’t something she ever does. But, there was something about him but she quickly got in her own feelings and left before he woke up.

Maize was completely shocked when Gavin showed up as the new horse trainer. Maize instantly acts like she doesn’t know him and that their night never happened.

Gavin won’t let Maize forget it though no matter how many times she denies it.

Maize has kept Gavin at arms length for awhile now. Gavin is getting whip lash bc one minute they’re hot and the next they’re freezing cold. But when Maize’s lightbulb finally turned on she’d pretty much pushed Gavin right off into the shark tank without putting him into the cage first.

Gavin might accept her apology but that doesn’t mean they’ll go back like nothing happened. Nope!! Maize must show Gavin she wants him. Really wants him and have a life with him.

OMG I legit started this at midnight thinking I’d read a little bit before bed. Next thing I knew it was 5:20am and I read 62% LOL. I couldn’t wait to finish reading this bc OMG Gavin and Maize are everything.

Even though Gavin and Maize are 10yrs apart you’d never know it I’d it wasn’t brought up. They’re really perfect for each other.

It was great catching up with all the previous family members we’ve been introduced to already.

I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. Kenzie and Grayson are frenemies. Kenzie hates him and Grayson says he doesn’t know why. I thought they were next and I was all for it but Kennedy Fox switched it up on us last minute.

We’ve also known about Elle and her issues with her veterinarian boss Connor. Well, Elle and Connor are next and they’ve brought a third wheel named Stephen to the game and I’m ALL for the added drama LOL.

Maize Bishop & Gavin Fox met at a bar unexpectedly. Gavin was a former bull rider passing through town. Maize, a local whose family owns a ranch and B&B. The two of them hit it off and ended up in the sheets together, but when morning came, Maize left before Gavin awoke and had no plans to see him again.

A couple weeks later, she’s shocked to learn that Gavin is the newest hire at Bishop Ranch and they’ll be seeing plenty of each other since Maize’s the chef at the B&B. Instead of embracing the awkward or possibly exploring anything with Gavin, Maize pretends their night together was a figment of Gavin’s imagination.

But the one thing Maize doesn’t know about Gavin is that once he has his sights set on something—or in this case, someone—there’s nothing he won’t do to get it.

Wrangling the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox is book 3 in the Circle B Ranch series. Gavin & Maize’s romance was sweet and fun. It was an overall good time, although I had some issues with Maize’s character at times. I didn’t agree with her denying their one night stand for months, but once we moved on from that, I thought the romance picked up a lot more. This wasn’t my favorite in the series so far but I did enjoy it! 3.5/5 stars.

Oh my goodness! This may have just become my new favorite from Kennedy Fox! Gavin and Maize's story was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. I have been looking forward to this since Diesel and Rowan's story. I DEVOURED this book as soon as I got it.

From their first encounter to the last chapter this book had everything just right! The age gap and the angst kept things HOT!

These two were fun to read when Maize was playing like she had amnesia and hot when they stopped playing games.

While you don't have to read the series to enjoy each book, the previous books tend to tease the characters that haven't had their stories told. Just like I was hooked on Gavin and Maize before I even read their story, I can't wait to get my hands on Bossing the Cowboy.

had been waiting for maize and gavin's story ever since that fateful meeting in the bar. gonna start off by saying that it's fun to meet all the characters once again. since the main couple's story takes place after book two, there's more development in both riley and zoey, and diesel and rowan. witnessing the antics that everyone at circle b ranch get into was fun.

now, maize refuses to acknowledge the passionate one-night stand she had with gavin. after a horrible past experience with a cowboy who worked at the ranch, maize's determined never to let history repeat itself. when she found out that gavin was newly employed at the ranch, any thought of that night is stowed away but not for long. she recognises that gavin's a good man but is he really worth the heartbreak and trouble?

i'm here to report that gavin's amazing. i liked how he teased and support maize. he doesn't go overboard or is overbearing at any point of time. he truly showed maize that he can be her one and only if she chooses him to be. whenever she pulls away, gavin respects maize's boundaries. though he does push her out of her comfort zone once in a while.

books in the series:
1. hitching the cowboy: ✰✰✰✰
2. catching the cowboy: ✰✰✰✰
3. wrangling the cowboy: ✰✰✰✰
4. bossing the cowboy: ✰✰✰✰
5. kissing the cowboy: ✰✰✰✰
6. winning the cowboy: ✰✰✰✰
7. claiming the cowboy
8. tempting the cowboy
9. seducing the cowboy

5 He Fights for His Girl Stars!!!

I’m absolutely loving this series and getting all the Bishop grandkids! And I especially loved Maize’s story because she’s just so confident in what she wants and doesn’t want…she wants another experience like she had with Gavin for their one night together, but that’s it…she’s not ready to settle down and she’s not interested in giving her heart to him.

But Gavin did not reach the level in bull riding that he did if he wasn’t single-minded in goals of being the best in the world. He’s now focusing that same attention on getting Maize Bishop to be his and he’s not going to let even her get in the way!!

I loved their push and pull and the chemistry that is ever present each time they see each other. But there’s only so long Maize could hold out!! I especially appreciate that Kennedy Fox matched Maize with an older man because I think that’s what she needs in her life. Someone that’s settled and reached a lot of his goals and can be dedicated to making their life everything they’ve each always dreamed of but now they can do it together!

But Maize, once she realizes Gavin is what she wants, he doesn’t make it easy for her, seeing as how his heart is a little crushed!! I was smiling and snickering to myself when she went after him this time and her love for this man couldn’t be ignored by anyone!

There’s so many things I love about this book from our sassy heroine to her family and relationships with them to Gavin and his alpha-ness in his love for this beautiful girl and while it’s not an easy path for them it’s definitely worth the ride because their love is one for the ages!!!

This book filled me with so much happiness. I am a hardcore Bishop family fan. I have read every single book and have fallen in love with all the characters. Every single time I read more about them I never want it to end.

Maize’s character is just amazing. I love how strong and amazing she is. I love that she didn’t let anyone curve her standards after she got hurt. Her being a chef just adds to her sweet side because she’s a very feisty woman.

Gavin just melted my heart. He’s such a sweet dirty cowboy and he has my whole heart. The fact that he chased after Maize for a whole year literally makes him ten times better. He’s just the beautiful southern man we come to love.

Their chemistry is so funny and hot. Like one minute it’s funny how they tease each other and the next the steam is like wow that’s hot. Their ending was just so freakin beautiful. I love how they all have houses on the ranch. 😭😭

I’m so excited for the next book. Older single dad who’s rude. Is May here yet?😍

I'm going to be in the minority here, but as much as I love this writing duo, I just felt a disconnect with this book. I genuinely liked Maize and Gavin individually, and they had some really sweet and sexy moments.. But most of the book had Maize getting close to him just to pull away again. And then when they finally got together, it just felt so rushed.

I did like how Gavin made Maize work for him though. After the continuous push and pull for it than half the book, he really made her work for him, which is something we do t see a lot of in romance novels. He was sure about her immediately, so I just loved how he knew his worth throughout his love for her.

I also loved the relationship between Maize and her younger sister Kenzie. I can't wait until we get her and Grayson's book!!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions.**

This book was exactly what I was needing at the moment. An age gap romance with humour and heat set on the Circle B Ranch. I loved how the book started and laughed at the conversation between Maize and Kenzie in the bar about men and dating.

Gavin, I loved! I appreciated his tenacity and approach to getting Maize and loved how he didn’t jump in when he had the opportunity. Maize I felt was slightly too stubborn on sticking to her rules. Watching her walls be slowly eroded was great! Her food made me hungry while reading.

I also love the glimpses of the other characters we see in this book, it’s nice to have them there especially the ones that have features in other previous stories.

Another great book and great read.

I woke up today and thought (for the first time ever) "wow I really want to read a super cheesy, light hearted, small town cowboy romance," and honestly, this delivered just that. The setting, the southern drawls, the chivalrous men were all exactly what i wanted when i picked up this cowboy romance. The FMC bothered me a lot in this book, she was so hot and cold, and then overreacted over the simplest things. For those reasons, this wasn't my favorite. BUT now that I've been introduced to all the characters here at Circle B Ranch, i will absolutely be reading more.

Whew'y. Gavin and Maize what can I say. The feels you get between these two. Gavin the sweet and hot bull rider knowing what he wants and a big heart to give. Maize stubborn hard headed chef wanting to keep her heart protected. When those two collide though fireworks are exploding! It's cute, fun, and romantically cowboy hot!

I just cannot get enough of this small town cowboy romance series by Kennedy Fox. I am falling deeper in love with this series with each new book. And Wrangling the Cowboy may be my favourite so far. This story was a perfect and irresistible combination of sexy, steamy, sweet, angsty and small town magic from Kennedy Fox. I couldn't put it down and I have a major book hangover!

Maize Bishop has a rule. Never date any employee of their ranch. So she is completely taken aback when the gorgeous guy she met at town's pub few weeks back and had an unforgettable one night stand with, actually turns out to be their newest trainer Gavin. Now all she wants to do is run and hide. But Gavin is determined to chase her and own her heart.

What I love about Circle B Ranch is this big family feel. The Bishops and their extended family and all the tiny details about small town fill my heart with all kinds of warm gooey feels. It's a special kind of glow for my romance crazy heart. Second, who doesn't love cowboys? Gavin is the most goregous and charming man ever! He is beautiful inside out. He didn't let Maize run and pushed and wooed constantly. I don't know how Maize could resist, I sure couldn't. He left behind his glorious bull riding days and easily found a second home with Bishops. He is hardworking, a pure gentleman with wicked edge. Maize is equally sweet and strong. She runs the family B&B's kitchen efficiently and works hard for her dream. She was wounded in love before and so she had a hard time trusting Gavin. But this delicious and sinful man broke through her barrier. The chemistry was so freaking hot and at the same time completely adorable. The push and pull was just brilliant. I swooned so hard for their sweet love and my panties were a lost cause for their fiery hot chemistry. The ending was pure bliss.

Wrangling the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox was a perfect romance to wreck my heart and own my soul. This story is full of magnetic chemistry, heartaching emotions and fascinating story telling. Another winner from the dynamic duo.

Every single time I start a KF book I just know that I’m in for one big SWOON. There’s always been something special about their Bishop family books, every single time I read one, it never fails to feel like coming home and I always know that I’ll never be disappointed. They say “Home Is Where the Heart Is” and my heart was captured by the Bishop’s from the moment these two amazing authors introduced us to them.

Wrangling the Cowboy takes us back to our beloved Bishop Ranch where we are re-introduced to Gavin Fox, an ex bull rider ready to settle down. This man is swoon worthy on all levels and trust me when I say, I was dying and drooling over him for the entirety of the book. I didn’t think I could love another cowboy as much as I love Jackson Bishop but.. Gavin Fox sure came close!

This time around it is Maize Bishop’s turn to get sucked into the magic of this ranch. The little girl we all fell in love with in John and Mila’s story (Chasing Him) is all grown up, following in Mama/Grandma Bishop’s footsteps; she’s grown into a successful chef whose food (obviously) brings Gavin Fox to his knees.

It wouldn’t be a Kennedy Fox book without some angst and heartbreak though and they sure put both Maize and Gavin through the ringer before giving us all the happy ending we all pine for. And of course.. it wouldn’t be a Bishop book without the most wonderful epilogue with you guessed it.. more tiny Bishop’s being popped out left and right!

I’m so anxious to continue reading the Circle B books, and I just know that in a couple months, I’ll be singing praises and drooling over another male lead. Do not pass up on reading this book! You will never regret letting these cowboys into your life!

Wrangling the Cowboy is the third book in Kennedy Fox’s Circle B Ranch Series but can be read as standalone. This story follows Maize, daughter of John and Mila (from Chasing Him). I can’t get enough of the Bishop family. They are protective and loving and also hilarious, fun and hard working. Maize cooks and bakes for the family’s bed and breakfast. She has been burned by love in the past so she is not interested in anything long term. She has a one night stand with a sexy cowboy, Gavin whom is new in town but he leaves town never expecting him to return. All that changes when a few months later he is back and working on the Bishop Ranch. Gavin is an ex-bull rider and has just retired from the rodeo circuit. He is looking to settle down. He is gorgeous inside and out and a total sweetheart. He is pure cowboy and has all the charm you would expect from a Southern Gentlemen. There were moments when Maize completely frustrated me with her stubbornness but she is a Bishop after all so I suppose I should have expected it. I just wish she would have given into Gavin a little sooner. She really made him work for her attention and affection. The two had some seriously intense chemistry though! It is addicting and steamy. I say it during every KF review but it bares repeating this series is one of my all times favourites and this author duo does not disappoint with writing a combination of a steamy, sexy and swoon-worthy story. If you love a little bit of angst, small towns and sexy cowboys you NEED to pick this one up.

There isn’t any other fictional family that I love more than the Bishops. Every addition to this series is like a little piece of home right at your fingertips.

Maize and Gavin start with instant chemistry and a bang but since Maize is a Bishop she doesn’t make it that easy to Wrangle her cowboy. I think Maize might actually be the most stubborn Bishop amongst them all. The cat and mouse game built up the tension between them to the point of near natural combustion (I don’t know if I mean they were going to combust or I was). Their banter was engaging and as always the Bishop family members added their own brand of crazy entertainment.

I loved Maize she had a bit of innocence to her with mountains of sass. Gavin wasn’t just a cowboy, he’s the cowboy, his southern charm with the hot cowboy swagger made his swoon levels chart topping.

This was the perfect blend of sweet, witty banter, swoon, feels and steam creating a belt buckle worthy cowboy romance.

Gavin is an ex rodeo rider who now has a job on the same farm that his one night stands family owns.
Maize does not have the time for a relationship, her life is too busy, cooking and baking for the family’s bed and breakfast. So she is doing everything she can to avoid Gavin. But there is so only so many places you can hide, lol

This series is so freaking good, it is something I listen to when i’m in the mood for a laughing out loud romance that you get sucked in from the start to finish. And Gavin and Maize was so fun to read. Their chemistry was totally off the charts hot. I want to be adopted by this family, lol.

And man the narration just made it even more awesome for me. I am loving Stephen Dexter’s voice ♥ It took me a minute to get use to Lia Longola’s voice but I don’t think I can picture any other two narrators reading this series 😊

Wrangling the Cowboy is book 3 in the Circle B Ranch series and book 8 in the Bishop Brothers Universe 3rd Generation series. This book is a Rom-Com with a small town, age gap trope. It has wonderful characters, LOL witty banter, sexy steam and a darling HEA. The MMC is a drool-worthy book boyfriend and once you read the first paragraph of this book you are hooked!

Gavin is a former champion bull rider, it's all he's known for years. Now that he's retired he finds a job as a horse trainer in a small town on the Bishop ranch in Texas. Gavin meets a woman in a bar and takes her home and she sneaks out the next morning, he can't get this woman out of his head and then he comes face to face with her and she acts like she doesn't know him.

Maize Bishop is a chef on the ranch at her parents bed and breakfast. She doesn't have time for a relationship but if she did there isn't a lot of single men around and she definitely doesn't date the men who work on the ranch. Her one night stand with the gorgeous green eyes shows up on the ranch and she has no choice now but to avoid him at all costs.

Maize's job keeps her plenty busy so how come does she keep running into Gavin when she's trying so hard to keep her distance? After months of pretending she doesn't remember him, she gives into the craving of wanting more time between the sheets with him. But when he has a choice to make of staying or going back to the rodeo circuit she makes it for him and cuts him loose. Gavin is in for the ride of his life and must convince her to stay in the saddle with him...

I FREAKING LOVE The Circle B Ranch. I want to live there! Lyra and Brooke have created the most wonderful place.

Maize is stubborn and has an attitude... will Gavin tamer her like he does the unruly horses he was hired to do? Their chemistry is HOT! Go give this story a ride. You won't regret it.
