Buy these over any other headphones under $40. Miles better than skullcandy or equivalents that you could pick up in any non-electronics store.

While obviously not audiophile worthy, these sound damn great for sub-$30. Clear audio, no fuzziness or static. Can't speak for the microphone as I haven't tried it.

Highly recommend for casual music listening as well as gaming. Would probably be great for TV and movies as well.

My only nitpick is that the earcup covers are mesh. This doesn't bother most people (in fact it's a benefit to many, since they don't overheat as easily), but it is just a tad on the scratchy side. I'm pretty sensitive to that kind of stuff and even I got used to it in a few sessions, but it's worth mentioning.

I like Corsair as a brand for their cases and memory products and this is the first item I've purchased from them outside of those categories.
The sound tends toward enhancing midrange with only slightly tinny sounding highs. I was surprised that the bass response is decent. (for example in Dream Theater's "Pull Me Under" there is a very low bass note in the intro that these headphones pick up it's one of the first tests I put on speakers) but correspondingly the lower the frequency, the lower the volume in the mix. Acceptable at this price range.
    They feel very solidly built
I have a large head (hat size 8 1/4) with larger than normal ears that lay mostly flat against my head and these headphones are very comfortable for me.
The overall volume is slightly louder than my previous set (which broke) of Logitech G430 and was pleasantly surprised that the Logitech USB DAC works when I plug this set of headphones into it (since these do not come with a DAC but rather a splitter to use the traditional mic/speaker jacks on your computer)
I would recommend these to anyone on a budget looking for a headset.

Let me at least disclose that I bought the HS35 headset for like 10 dollars. I also got a good deal on the Sennheiser HD 599's recently. I had already been using the Corsair's for a couple weeks at that point. I was expecting to keep the HS35's as a backup set since it didn't make sense to really get rid of them to get 10 dollars back. I decided after one day of using the Sennheiser HD599's that I was definitely returning them. Here are the bullet points that made me really like the HS35's:
-Huge pillows for cushions. The earcups are almost like an inch thick of super breathable very soft noise foam that has some kind of mesh layer to it. It isn't summer yet but I haven't had any sweat issues with these. Can easily wear them for 5 hours at time.
-Excellent audio quality for my needs. Directional sound is this headset's strong suit. Everything else is just B+ but also they have a slight bass boost that to many, including myself, is preferable. I understand some people would rather have a completely unaltered sound. I think this simulates the actual bass I get when using my low-to-mid range desktop speakers. It makes voices sound more natural and music blend together the way a lot of people are used to hearing their music but just better.
-Detachable microphone. Good thing because the mic quality is bad. You might be able to replace the mic entirely as it's a headphone jack but I haven't looked into it since I use a Blue Yeti on an arm. I did try it just to see and yep it's just not great. Par for the course.
-Long cord. I do wish the 3.5mm headphone cord was detachable where it goes into the headset somehow just in case something happened down the road where I could easily replace it. But also I'm sure I could tear this down and do the work if I really wanted to. The cord itself has a semi-soft rubber/plastic feel that has enough rigidity where the jack doesn't bend itself (and the internal wires) under its own weight when sticking out the top of my computer. Also the cord goes into the left headphone so that might take some getting used to or some special routing.
-Not a lot of noise cancellation. I kind of like this for this type of headset. I can hear important things happening in the house if I need to but the noise foam and solid plastic covering do dampen enough that outside noise doesn't ruin any listening experience. Would I have liked an option for ANC? Sure. But this headset does have a little physical volume wheel on it and I gotta say if I had to choose between which of those two little buttons I want on that real estate it would be the volume wheel. Now having BOTH? Don't be preposterous.

That's pretty much it. Basically I'm using these as headphones at my computer and I like them for music and games. All I need it to do and it does it well.

I like the price i like the design of it I like how comfortable these are, I like how light weight they are, I love the sound quality on these things, I'm telling ya I've bought alot of headsets i mean alot and it's too embarrassing to mention how many but between animals and my son still growing up we've went through alot of them and over the years this set of head phones have been not only a contender but it has reigned champion of our house for awhile, needless to say this headgear will remain the best headgear we've bought. The sound quality is outstanding I actually check behind me during a game ora movie because it sounds so life like and so real they've managed to take a flat sounding headset and finally give it alot of depth and richness i mean you'll actually look to see what or who is behind you as you play your game or watch your movie it's that life like that amazingly put together. It's tough to find headsets that'll go the distance but this one has, it's even survived the vacuum cleaner i swear to ya the cord was sucked up into the vacuum by mistake of course but it lived and was unscaved from it. I don't recommend doing this on purpose too see if I'm right or serious cuz I'm dead serious I review alot of things and trust me in not into putting out stuff that's not been done or truthful. I enjoy reviewing cuz it helps people in a positive way so do yourself a favor but these headsets you'll not go wrong with this purchase

Reviewed in Mexico on February 19, 2021

Reviewed in Canada on April 17, 2020
These are inexpensive headphones which are great for the price. The material is plastic and doesn't feel super high quality. The padding is very thick and comfortable. The headphones can be worn for an entire day on calls and there is no ear discomfort. The microphone quality is adequate, but not exceptional. Perfect for calls but probably not recording audio for videos or podcasts. The design is sleek and not as bulky as other headsets with mics, which is nice. Overall, comfort is the best thing here. Audio quality and mic quality are suitable, but nothing crazy good.

I usually use a set of bluetooth earbuds paired to my phone and computer for listening to music, meetings and playing games, however I found the the battery runs out when I spend a few hours playing games. I got this wired set for playing games and chatting to friends. It does a good job, the sound quality is fine and their relatively comfortable no issues with overheating. It's very good value for money, the only issue I've had with them is it took some time to configure these the first time I used them with my computer, I expected them to be more plug and play but once done I haven't had to do it again.
