    Grayson and Kenzie's book is one I have been waiting for, for what feels like forever.Their bickering and banter, the flirting and fire between them has been a great source of entertainment for me throughout this series.While I had a pretty good idea after the last book what had happened between them for Kenzie to feel the way she did, I wasn't spot on.This book started with the same vibe they have been giving off for what feels like years. More digs, more jabs, more pranks and flirting. But once they called a truce, well... that's when things REALLY got interesting.Their connection has always been apparent to me, their attraction to each other as clear as crystal.And boy, when they finally broke through that line, It. Was. Hot.Like, burn the house down, start a wildfire, H. O. T.And despite the deliciously dirty words that came out of Grayson's mouth, he was also really sweet. The effort he put in and the surprises he planned for Kenzie absolutely melted me.As did the epilogues.Yip, you read that right. Plural.So good 😍Lia—like always—nailed the narration.Tor also did a great job.

    There is a prequel of 6 years earlier that establishes the end of his relationship with his family and move to work as a ’hand.’ He is very attracted to the daughter, but she feels she has a strong reason to hate him despite her attraction. Instantly obvious that she is the woman from 6 yrs earlier, and she knows it. Key point I had issue with was her willingness to buy him at auction. But, it was a really good story and I enjoyed it.

    Mackenzie Bishop, aka Kenzie, has been an elementary school teacher who still lives at home and goes to the B&B for coffee almost every morning. She also runs into the one person who reminds her of a horrible memory. Still, for some reason, he doesn’t remember her or talks about it. Messing with Grayson Harding has been customary. Anytime the ranch hands see Grayson around Kenzie, they know something juicy is about to happen. It is, however, becoming harder to keep her feelings at bay for Grayson. Kenzie has to remind herself what happened all those years ago, so it doesn’t repeat itself.

    Grayson Harding came to Circle B Ranch to start over and get away from his old life. However, Grayson never expected to feel such a pull to Kenzie that he is willing to be picked on for the next 5-6 years of his life. Kenzie hasn’t made it easy for him, but Grayson likes it like that. He enjoys ruffling her feathers and knows he gets beneath her skin. He is hoping that one day she will crack and admit that she has feelings for him.

    The back and forth, the teasing, and getting back at one another were quite hilarious to read. I would cry my heart out if I had cow patties in the bed of my truck. Full-on alligator tears, I tell you. I was cheering for Grayson throughout the book and felt terrible that his family wasn’t the greatest. Thankfully Grandma Bishop made him feel like he belonged with them during holidays.

    If you want small-town enemies to lovers romance, this is it! Such a good story with a beautiful ending. I am also excited to see what comes next!

    This is book 7 I’m the series and it can be read as a stand alone but if you want to know all the family and couples start from the beginning Hitching the cowboy .
    Grayson is working on the ranch trying to get over his past . To forget his ex fiancé who slept with his brother and married him. This is is very sad situation because while he was out drinking he had a one night stand with a girl and it was non other then Kenzie except he was didn’t realize because his ex showed up and scared her away before he could find out her name and if the connection they felt while drunk was real. He walked away from his family to the ranch to run into the very hot sexy Kenzie one problem she hates him doesn’t know why.
    Kenzie is a teacher she still lives at home has a one night stand with a hot guy whom she thinks is engaged and a cheater . She also thinks he is pretending to not remember her. That goes on for 6 yrs. now I love the story because it is fun and their is a lot of practical joking and smack talk between he, him and friends. But I was a little sad to find that an adult would hold a grudge for 6 yrs and not actually just tell him what happen to your fiancé . Communication is key and never tells him why . Even though he asks why she hates him. Now she wins him in auction and takes her home drama happen and the truth comes out. Then it wraps up pretty fast. I wish it would have had a little more about the ex getting out in her place but it is a good story and has a HEA. The second epilogue is really sweet .

    Where do I even start?! I didn’t want this book to end! It was such a fantastic story! Our sweet Kenzie and Grayson finally got their happily ever after!
    Kenzie is definitely one of my new favourite Kennedy Fox characters! With a perfectly intriguing mix of sweetness, strength and authenticity, Brielle was all anyone could hope for in a lovely and fierce heroine. I know that I will definitely be coming back to this novel for another visit with her soon! 😊
    Don’t even get me started on Grayson! 😍❤️ Such a broody hunk of charismatic man, I could not get enough of him. His perseverance in trying to get Kenzie to give him a chance was so swoon worthy and romantic.     In short, this novel was a perfect addition to a fan favourite series that had me hooked from book one. Truly all I could have hoped for and more than I ever anticipated. The only bittersweet moment that I didn’t like was the fact that the story came to an end! 😉😁❤️
    I absolutely cannot wait to get into the Twins stories soon too! The way these authors perfectly hinted at what is to come had me completely engrossed!
    I love this book and can’t wait for more to come! Well done Kennedy Fox, this masterpiece deserves all five of these rating stars!
