I am new to iPhone, but for 2+ years I have been a huge Caseology fan.I personally don’t think this case adds a ton of bulk or weight...and frankly I would rather feel confident that my phone is protected and sacrifice some of the slimness, but that is me.My phone is the XS and this case fits perfectly, although I almost wish it came up just a little more around the lip. Compatible with a pop socket, which is a necessity...fits in a wristlet purse or my coat pocket without an issue.Also, the XS comes in gold and it’s almost a rose gold tone, so the fact that the border piece of this case is more of a rose gold actually works really well.

I would recommend.

This is a solid, sturdy case that is relatively slim. I drop my phone a LOT and had this caseology case for my iPhone 7 and XS, and it was protected it perfectly. I like the dual layer protection around the edges and corners. Color is nice, but it does scrape off really easily so your case will look dinged up really quick - if that matters to you, don’t get this case. It’s thicker than other slim fit cases, but mainly because the edge protection is thicker and there is a nice lip around the screen and camera. Highly recommend!

I'll be honest. I bought this case mostly because I like how it looks. It doesn't provide Otterbox levels of protection, but that's not what I was looking for anyway. My requirements were simple: a phone case that provides a decent amount of drop and scratch protection, protects the camera and evens out the bump, has a lip to protect the screen and isn't too bulky. And hopefully, the case is not expensive and decent looking at the same time. This Caseology phone case meets all those requirements and more besides!
The case is very flat but still has enough thickness to even out the camera bump. It doesn't interfere with wireless charging. The volume buttons and power button are easy to press. The silent switch is easy to access. The case is simple to install and a bit harder to remove. I push the camera in and peel back the case from the top corner. The case is very nice looking. I purchased the supposed gold one. It's not gold; it's rose gold. It's very similar to the rose gold of the iPhone 6s. This shade probably looks best with the silver iPhone X. If you own the gold iPhone Xs, the two might clash instead of complement each other.
I had to get two of these cases. The first case sometimes made squeaking noises. It happened the most when I squeezed the phone, but also when I picked the phone up to use it or just to see the time. There was a very minor gap between the sides of the phone and the case. I suspect air was getting in, hence the noise. I contacted Amazon and was given a choice between refund or replacement. I chose replacement and got the new one in one business day. The new one is perfect. I love this case.

I had this case for two years for my iPhone 6s and just got a new one for my XS. Very durable and I dropped my phone a lot and there was never a scratch on the phone. If you’re looking for ultra ultra slim you may not want this case but it’s the slimmest when I found that is durable. It has the overlap on the side so if you drop the phone and the screen hits the ground it’s protected. Not bulky and it looks very very nice.

I had high expectations for this phone as I wanted to see the pretty gold color of my new iPhone XS.
Issues:
1. To say it is NOT slim is an understatement. This case adds about a centimeter in width to my case. It makes my phone looks huge. It may have a better protection for the phone, I can't say, but the leather case my husband has is both slim and protective, so I still believe you don't need a bulk to make the phone safe.
2. It also managed to make my phone look cheap. The golden rim is not attached to the clear plastic, rather it is a separate piece. It is sort of indented into the plastic to make it look flash on the surface but it is not. I can see all the seams on the golden piece as it is not a single piece. BUT the golden rim is also not going all the way to the screen of the phone. I am assuming it is because it is a hard piece that cannot bend. So you end up with the golden rim that is ending 5 mm before the screen begins and a clear plastic picking out ot there.
3. The fingerprints are all over. I expected some because it is a clear case but in this particular case the fingerprints make the phone look disgusting on top of all other issues I mentioned above.
I will be looking for a different case
