Huge in waist and short in length

I bought these because the xl pga tour flat front shorts fit my 15 y/o son very well. These pants have a completely different fit from the shorts. They are several inches larger in the waist than the shorts. Even with the button-adjusting waist, they are too big. They are also very short in length. These will be returned. On the good side, they are nicely made with lightweight material. The waist can button in to adjust smaller. They look polished and appropriate for any golf course. These would be a good choice for a shorter, huskier frame.
