Overview

The ProMediaGear BH50c40 Ball Head is the same as the ProMediaGear BH50c60. The main difference is the clamp type as the name implies.

Just like the BH50c60, this ball head provides a solid grip on the camera while providing precise and smooth movements.

Build quality is great as it is made of solid T6061 aluminum. This makes it lightweight and durable. At only 1.54 lbs, it has the same weight as the other variant. It is easy to carry and pack.

The Arca-compatible clamp makes this ball head perfect for your photography system. You can place any camera or accessory as long as it has an Arca-compatible plate.

Panning from left to right is smooth - all thanks to the independent panning knob. This knob is also repositionable so you can move it depending on where you are comfortable with it.

Just like other tripod heads, this ball head has a standard tripod mount. Also, it has a built-in bubble level and laser engraved markings for precise positioning.

Shooting from landscape to portrait is easier too with the two drop slots.

Like the majority of other ProMediaGear products, the BH50c40 ball head has a 5-year warranty. Get yours today and take your photography to the next level.

Best tripod head I've ever used.

There are many styles available, but this BC50c40 is a true beast of engineering and performance. Heavy duty to hold a long lens securely and so easy to use. I really appreciate the quality built into this head. Heads above all the rest.

BH50C40 Ball Head

I'm impressed with the BH50C40 so far. It is very well engineered and feels rock solid. I see no need to ever look at another ball head again. I think I can even disregard the long heard advice to never flop over your camera going from landscape to portrait orientation. Highly recommended.

The best of the best.

I am so grateful that I found Pro Media Gear. The build quality, fit, and finish on this ball. Head is some of the best that I have ever seen. I have had many others, and this is by far the best of the best.

Top Quality...

I purchased the BH50C40 50mm Professional Ball Head 6 months ago and I found it to be sturdy and sound. A very quality piece of equipment for my camera setup (Canon 5d III). There is no slippage with this ball head when taking photos. I use this ball head for head shots and macro photography, I absolutely love it. Since I utilize multiple tripods, my next purchase will be the ProMediaGear BH1 Sputnik Arca-Type Ball Head.

Amazing!

I wish this BH50C40 was in the market two years ago. Back then, I end up bought a couple ball heads from different brands but none of them come even close to this one. This BH50C40 is a little more expensive and a little heavier but the quality is so much better and more importantly it fit all other band L-plates like a glove! It's really amazing! (The other two ball heads I have may not work as well. I also bought one from RRS but end up returned it.) I have not use this BH50C40 yet but just open it and try to see if it could fit with all those cheap L-plates I have. I also try to add it with my TR344L tripod to see if would it fit into my 28 inch bag. It also fit my 28 inch tripod bag by turning the head 90 degree. The BH50C40 design is so much better and easier to use. I am sure with the enjoyment I have with TR344L, I am looking forward to get a lot more nice pictures with this BH50C40 ball head. Thank you PMG & thank you Tom!
